Novel ahead-

WE LOVE LOVE LOVE GC PHO! My husband and I come so much, they know our order to a T! We have come for a few years now and I really hate how I haven’t made a review! One of the most authentic vietnamese cuisines here in Columbus. And the cutiest of families who are super kind and thoughtful, putting full love and detail into each and every dish they serve MADE TO ORDER.

You’re probably wondering our order. Glad you asked. My husband and I will get Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls with shrimp and Pork as an app. Their eggrolls are top tier too. And the other spring rolls with Cured Pork and Grilled Pork is also amazing. Dumplings if we wanna feel we can have more deep fried food that day, those are also so yummy. That’s about their whole app list we love to eat, let’s move on.

For my main meal, I’ll get the Banh Canh (pictured) 9/10 times. I love the light/fishy soup with the bouncy (udon like) round noodles. There is lots of shrimp/meat and if you are hesitant about pork hock and duck blood you could ask for it in the side or just remove it completely! If you are into deep depths of flavors-Bo Kho and Pho is what you should go for. I like to switch it up sometimes and get the Pho with shrimp and to add meatballs. Bo Kho is like an american Roast Beef cooked in a crockpot but it is more flavorful, meat is falling apart and you have noodles in place of your potatoes and they give you a choice of what type of noodes or bread. (I personally love it with rice noodle but my husband will choose Rice Noodle or Egg Noodle or Bread-I guess it depends on the day for him.

Vermicelli noodle bowls are for my non soup days. Fresh/light/filling and I don’t feel heavy afterwards.

Sandwiches-I get the cold cut and my husband will always go for Grilled Pork. The toasted baguette bun and the ingredients are so fresh and so filling. They do not skimp on ingredients!

Please give them a try! And thanks for reading this far!

The broth looks flavorful, but just oily. The restaurant seating area was unkempt. Front of house was not happy to be there. Very strong smell of lemon scented cleaner which also fuin the experience.

Top tier restaurant! Great pho with generous amount of meat, delicious broth, and fresh toppings. The banh mi was delicious as well, I would’ve liked pate on the one I ordered but still so good.

Maybe the best Pho I’ve had in Columbus? I always get the house special (basically the Pho with all of the meat options) very delicious!

Can’t recommend it.
I got the spicy beef bowl and there was like 6 pieces of beef, 2 of which were giant bones and 1 was an inedible chewy piece of fat.
My egg roles got delivered to the wrong table and then just taken off that table and give to me.
There was very few noodles and the pho bowl was forgettable. I left hungry.
The menus they have on the walls are faded and unreadable, and there’s no public bathroom.
The egg roles were good but $5 for 2.

I was looking for Pho and this place was recommended by a family member who raves about the broth. I started with the Vietnamese coffee. Its delicious but missing the strength and bitterness. Still very enjoyable!

To my surprise, the broth was very flavorful that no extra condiments were necessary, unless a side sauce was used for dipping meats. The only thing I didn’t really enjoy were the noodles. They are a little thicker than usual and were over cooked to my taste, but it wasnt a big deal.

The chili oil was fragrant with lemongrass and had a taste profile I’ve only had in San Jose, California. Im glad to have found it here at home so I purchased a half jug to bring home for $15. Worth it, as a little goes a long way!

I will definitely return to try more dishes in the near future! 9/10

Small dine in area but was able to walk in and sit down. Ordered spring rolls with a delicious peanut sauce. Crispy rolls were great as well. Got the chicken fried rice, chicken pho and brisket pho. Not the traditional smoked brisket but was just as delicious. Got the porl banh mi to go and was not able to save it for dinner it was so delicious

Food is incredible. Just recently started eating pho and this restaurant’s veggie pho is phenomenal. Broth is beef, but everything is so delicious. Incredible people and family. Becoming a weekly dining experience for us

The GC Pho Special, charred pork sandwich/bahn mi, and Thai tea are my absolute favorites and the food hits the spot everytime! I can’t really speak to the atmosphere, as I’ve only placed pick up (about a million times), but the service is always great and the food amazing.

One of the better Vietnamese restaurants in Columbus. First time here but they’ve been around for 18 months located in a strip mall next to Jimmy Johns where the Walmart Super Center is. They don’t use the fresh style rice noodles sticks for their Pho dishes but it was still prepared fine. They do offer select deserts here as well. The bun bo hue here was comparable to Mi Li’s version but was slightly sweeter and spicier.

Returned to try one of my favorite dishes, Banh Xeo. This was probably the worst version of it I’ve ever had and should be avoided (see pics, it tastes exactly like it looks, pretty bad).
