No wait and lots of open tables. We came around 6:00pm on a Monday. We have been coming here since the original location was on Monterey Blvd. All their food is delicious and not Thai spicy unless you want that burn and I am sure they can help you with that.
They start you off with a basket of fried shrimp chips and a tamarind dipping sauce. Plus water for everyone.
Their Thai ice tea is always on point. Pad Se-ew with Chicken has been my go to dish. Double cooked Duck. Their whole menu has wonderful options.

Beautiful restaurant with good day lighting. Pretty fancy feel to the environment and utensils however not bad prices. Service is excellent, we had a kind server who was very attentive to our needs. Menu was clean and well organized. Food and drink satisfied my craving and the portion is good for one or two people to share. Would definitely come back.

What a refreshing experience, I was craving for some good Thai cooking , the weather was rather cold and gloomy. As I entered Regent Thai. I was greeted with this so unique, only in Thailand smile. Within minutes I felt transformed from a person that is bombarded with negativity from around the globe and especially on local shores to an individual that sensed humanity still exists. If you read this and have been to Thailand before then you know what I’m talking about. If you haven’t, pack your bags and give it a try.
And for the food you might ask, right on target, simple but distinct with its flavors and textures. Red duck curry was lovely and the Tum Yum salad reminded me of having lunch at a street corner in BKK. Love it
Thank you chef and staff for holding onto your traditions and transforming your guest for the short period of time to a better world.

This is one of my frequent go-to Thai restaurants in the city where Thai places are common.
One of the things that I value in a restaurant is consistency of quality and these folks always roll out high standards in their servings.
And while there are so many Thai eateries in San Francisco in plenty of pockets around town and everyone has their favorites, I submit this post as a simple endorsement as a great place to try or include in your rotation.
The food is very good with plenty of selection, the place is clean and the service is prompt with reasonable pricing. That about checks off all the boxes.

I have been a fan of this spot for many years after a friend of mine got me hip to the skip. The food is always fresh, well presented and flavorful. You never taste anything odd or mysterious as it is prepared with such care. All of my friends, family and general loved ones know that this is the place I go out to dinner. I am pretty familiar with the staff although I only eat there a few times a year.
The people are warm, kind and very attentive. The level of friendliness has always been sincere. I always feel like I am visiting relatives because the experience is so easy. I highly recommend this spot. It is some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten and I grew up in San Francisco.
YUMMY!

Ordered just one thing (i was craving) panang curry with chicken. It was good but it seemed like they over charged me compared to their other chicken dishes ($15 other dishes vs $18 for mine)?? it was good, lots of veggies, but small portion (especially for the over charge) and they didn’t ask how spicy i wanted it and it wasn’t spicy enough…
PROS
-service
-lots of veggies
CONS
-portion size
-cost

Very nice staff, but their vegetarian menu is misleading. The curries that are listed under the vegetarian section have fish sauce in them! Luckily I called to double check and they were very sweet, but highly recommend they label their menu more clearly.

Came in with a girlfriend for the lunch special. It’s a really cute corner place, lots of natural daylight & the decor is simple, yet elegant.
I ordered the lunch special tofu pad ma kuer & asked w soft tofu and vegan. Maybe because I asked for the dish to be changed, I found it tasting plain. There was not much flavor in my dish.
The waitress was very sweet and I will give this place another try.
Wanted to split our bill & were asked to pay with one card.

Originally from SF I always loved this restaurant and it’s whole vibe. I’m so glad I stopped in again, just as good as I remembered. Delicious

One may argue about if the food here is the best, but one thing I can say for sure is that this place has the most beautiful menu lol. Plus the restaurant interior is very nice, modern, and welcoming. Of course you come here for food. So let me talk about food. The menu is quite extensive and have some authentic dishes. I tried an innovative chef’s special and it tastes great: the fried shrimp topped with red curry sauce on a bed of Kanom Jean, the rice vermicelli. It tastes well rounded like traditional central Thai food. The mango and sticky rice here is legit. What surprised me is that the food here is quite well priced. Many seafood dishes are under $20 which is definitely worth it. Highly recommended if you want Thai food in a slightly upscale setting (they serve wines by glass too!) yet affordable.
