We are family owned and operated for 26 years! Same Maui and Liz there everyday… our girls Kailani and Kiana now work along side us! Our Crew are our adopted kids basically; we all live in the Maui Compound two blocks from the restaurant and we ALL have the same DREAM… to continue to put out the freshest food we can and make memories for our customers. We make it ALL… FOR REAL. Fresh cut fries, freshly breaded chicken, we cut and bread our own shrimp, make our own chicken cutlets and tenders & Angus Burgers. FRESH is what we do! The ONLY thing NOT freshly made is the coleslaw… it’s good and we know that someone else makes it better than we can!

I got the “Forget-About-It” Dog (Cheese, Bacon, German Mustard, Onion and Chili). Girlfriend got the Plain with Yellow Mustard. She got the Cardiac Fries (Cheese and Bacon) and I got the Salty Balls.

I enjoyed mine, Girlfriend thought not only her Hoffman’s German Hot Dog was temperature cold, that the bun was also cold. When I mentioned something to her, she’s like “no, like chilled….like they just took it out of the fridge…”. The rolls were nice and thick and big, big enough to hold the dogs with lots of toppings. Maybe because my dog had the warm cheese on top, that I didn’t get the “chilled” vibe from my meal. Hers was so damn plain with just yellow mustard, not much to hide the temp of the dog if it was a big too chilled. They both had griddle marks, but that was just her take on it.

5-Stars overall, but gave the 4 due to her impressions on the temperature of the dog. Still a beautiful day to enjoy a hot dog outside.

It’s a super casual counter-service spot with food made fresh while you wait. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant—who knew eating out of dog bowls could be so enjoyable?
The owners are incredibly friendly and work hard to deliver a great experience every time. There’s usually plenty of on-street parking out front, and the large picnic tables easily fit our group. You can also call ahead to reserve a table for larger parties.

If you are in Wildwood, or anywhere nearby, this place is a must! Family owned and operated and the food is just absolutely delicious! Great variety. Family is great and the atmosphere is just really cool. Where else can you go and get to eat out of a dog bowl! Yum.

We went on a Friday for lunch, and got our food very quickly. The hot dog was great! I had the cheesy drunk horse and I was so impressed. It’s a good quality hot dog and great toppings. The fries were also excellent and they give you a ton, more than enough to split.

Quick service, but not really a fan on the hot dogs or sausage. The hot dogs one of the major items people talk about when it comes to this place, but I just don’t think they taste good. Sister likes their hotdogs at least, as well as their Salty Balls, so that’s a plus. Boyfriend and I enjoy their Fricken Chicken, sometimes it’s better than others, but overall that’s our favorite thing to get there. Fries are fairly decent too, but I think their chicken is better than most of what’s on the menu

Showed up during a rain storm. Got 2 kids meals, a hot dog, a burger, and some fries. Food was amazing! Husband said that was the best sour kraut he ever eaten. It was pouring. The owner was walking people to their cars under an umbrella! She even gave a man a who was parked far away a ride to his car. Who does that? These people are clearly willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Only got a few pics because everyone one was eating so fast! We will definitely be back.

I had the special of seafood combo, & exchanged my fries for the famous salty ball potato’s, and everything was amazing! I know they are know for their hot dogs, but the seafood was fresh & delious. The dips were all home made!

Great location for lunch if you love hotdogs. They also gave burgers & sausages. You can try a different dog everytime you go. Everything served in dog dishes which is a great gimmick that goes along with the Dog House name. Friendly owners! Family run! Wish I could go everyday!
