We’ve dined here a few times while camping in the area, and have been very pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere.

On our most recent trip my spouse enjoyed the Sautéed Salmon and I had their Chicken Marsala. Both were delicious and service was top notch.

I visited the Prop House this weekend after being told the food was amazing, I was not disappointed. Nice drive & very easy to find. Parking wasn’t an issue, ample parking & spots. Seating options were booths, tables, hi-top tables & bar stools. I chose a hi-top, it was comfortable & clean. The staff were very friendly & professional. The atmosphere reminded me the local restaurant that everyone who live in the town goes there, very cozy & inviting. The menu had a good selection of sandwiches, burgers, steaks & entrees. My meal was perfect, flavorful & perfectly prepared. They also have Cherry Pop, absolutely love cherry pop.
My over all experience here great, I will definitely be dining here again soon.

First time there and was not disappointed. Was told you need to get there early because they don’t take reservations. You weren’t kidding. We got there at approximately 4:30 and by 5 o’clock, there was barely a seat. I was told, and I could also see that there was a new addition being put on for extra seating. But it was not open at the time of visit. I got the pineapple pork chop, and it was fantastic, I was told to save room for desserts, and im glad I did. A carrot cake and peanut butter pie were to die for I could have gorged myself on just those two and skipped dinner if I would have known. ❤️

I really wanted to love the food. It’s not often you get a seafood forward menu around these parts.
My girlfriend and I arrived early, so we sat at the bar while we waited for the rest of our group. The bartender was attentive funny and overall great. They have a lot of local beer choices on tap and a full bar. I’m not a fan of no windows in a restaurant. I can’t see myself sitting inside on a nice summer day or night, however sense it was winter it was not a deal breaker. The seating is definitely dated white 90s chairs with red booths, decore basic. The bathroom is very new and updated (women’s) it is at the front of the restroom, and the men’s at the back, one stall right off the bar area.
On to the food. We ordered the coconut shrimp, large portion I believe 10 nice size shrimp. Good crunch and flavor. The dipping sauce was weird, applesauce with red paper flakes..strange, to say the least. The pork belly was super crispy on the outside and fatty juicyness on the inside..by far my favorite thing all night. I ordered the sesame crusted tuna with a Wasabi soy sauce. The tuna was supposed to be medium rare..Def just rare, not even sure it had any kind of sear to it. I also prefer my sesame seeds to be toasted. They were not. The tuna itself was ok, a big chunk was a vain that got left on the plate. The biggest fault in the dish was the soy whatever sauce..it was straight salt to the point it dried out my tongue, just not good. My friends all got the cod stuffed with crab. It came out warm at best (my friends said cold). The fish itself was mushy like it sat in water too long. The crab mixture had no real flavor. The mash potatoes had too much garlic taste, and I love garlic. This was just overwhelming and bitter. The Brussel sprout petals tasted like grease from being flash fried.
Overall, the food was not what I expected. The service was great, prices ok (if the food would live up to it). Should have gone with the chicken and the burger like the staff suggested. On the fence if I will return or not.

We had a super friendly waitress named Sherry and when ever there was dirty dish it was taken from the table! For an appetizer, we got the bruschetta which was delicious. Main course was the blacken blue jay burger & Parmesan-Romano Chicken Breast which were both great! The apple crisp and carrot cake were also very tasty! We will be back.

A wonderful establishment just off Lake Milton. Homemade from scratch food. I mostly get the chicken Marsala. Chicken is always cooked perfectly, nice juicy, with portobello mushrooms. Never had a bad experience. Now with renovations complete not much of a wait to get a table.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Service was prompt, friendly and continuous. Our waiter was on it, from bringing the complimentary freshly baked bread to dropping boxes for the doggy bag, he didn’t miss a beat. The food was awesome. Perfectly cooked steaks, fresh haddock, complimented with a vegetable and potato sides. The atmosphere was light, friendly and even a little loud from everyone just enjoying being in this great place enjoying great food and drinks, but not deafening. Dress casual, flip flops aren’t required but being located near Lake Milton, expected to be seen by customers. A general American food, neighborhood friendly restaurant and bar, with outside dining available.
