The very best vegan pizza I have ever had. The cheese is fantastic. It actually melts, unlike most vegan cheese. The deep fried soy curds have an amazing and unique taste to them. The seasoning is perfect. They even taste great cold the next day.
I was so shocked to find a non-vegan place in Tennessee that offers a vegan menu. Thank you so much!! We live an hour away but will definitely be back for this wonderful food.

New favourite spot in Murfreesboro. We ordered an app, a pizza, a zomboli, and a dessert- everything was delicious and exactly as ordered. Best part is we overheard who must have been the owner being understanding with an employee having a scheduling issue. A well treated-team and fantastic food, I would rather spend $60 here than $10 at Pizza Hut.

Gooooood pizza. Crispy crust on the thinner side. Delicious but not heavy at all. Healthy amount of toppings. For my large pizza, I got pepperoni bacon and a juice for about 20$.

Didn’t get a chance to try plant based but they have a great selection of vegan options.

Their decor and theming is very fun great for families and especially for Halloween time.

I want to note the owner was working the counter. Working hard. Talking with customers and paying attention to their experiences. He offered to go above an beyond for one family by cutting their food smaller for their kids.

I even got a free upgrade to an extra large pizza just because they didn’t have the large crust ready.

Wonderful little family restaurant. If you like giving your money to real hard-working people instead of billion dollar companies, this is a great choice.

Edit to add: The owner’s response loses them a star and ensures we will never return.

There are too many pizza places that appreciate their customers and help their custoners when they have a bad experience, instead of attacking them like this owner did.

We were recommended this pizza place by a friend, and I guess I should have researched it a little more before going.

Before I say anything else, I will say the employee was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu.

That being said, we were disappointed walking through the door. We were hoping for a place that we could sit down and eat the food while it was hot. As I said, I didn’t do my research, so this was on me.

The formatting of the menu leaves something to be desired. It wasn’t the easiest menu to read, and I ended up having to disregard the names/prices just to look at the ingredients of the pizza to see what I wanted.

We ordered a large Mount Spooky. It was supposed to come with meatball, pepperoni, canadian bacon, italian sausage, and some veggies; similar to a Supreme. When we got home, I had trouble finding ANY meat on our pizza! There were veggies aplenty, but not meat.

We also got an order of the Monsterella Sticks. For $11 we got 10 mozzarella sticks. Sounds great, right? Well, it would except these were the generic, frozen mozzarella sticks that you can get literally anywhere. Very disappointing. Also, the marinara sauce they gave with the mozzarella sticks was cold. Who wants cold sauce with their app?!

Overall, very disappointed with our experience. We should have gone somewhere else where we could have sat and ate, or ordered from a chain place and gotten 2x as much food for the same price (and they would have gotten the order right!).

SPOOKY more like WOWEEE! If you’re looking for the best pizza in the boro, look no further! Fresh ingredients prepared with real care. Plus the owner is awesome making every guest feel special. Not a lot of seating but don’t let that stop you, get it to go or you’ll regret missing it! We had the Philly pizza! ♥️

Its a counter style ordering. You can order online as well. They have many creative pizza specialties and you can also create your own pizza. I also had their salad. I saw burgers, sandwiches , kids menu and desserts on menu as well. Check out their sweet treat variety. There’s somewhat limited seating inside , they offer two seater bar top (x2) , a table for four. Then outside , they have a few two top seaters and a couple picnic tables with umbrellas.

We ordered around 6:10p, waited on order and received our 1 pizza and 2 salads at 7:04p. NOW, this was a Friday night. So you can expect a pizza place on a Friday has more demand. ORDER AHEAD!

We are newer to town and didn’t know to order ahead (we are big city folk and are adjusting to a much much slower pace of life). Everything tasted great. I liked the house made ranch , albeit thicker, very tasty.

I didn’t notice til after we ate, we got the wrong pizza. I look at the box and see another name, some one elses’ order number and their phone number. I did bring it to Merlin’s attention. I explained I preferred to not have my number given to a stranger on their box and he regretfully informed me it had already left the store. Not much we can do about that. It made a lot more sense after I figured that out, our order numbers were 5 order numbers apart and they ordered before I did, which explains the temp of the pizza. Their order was #12 and mine was #17. Was not cold but was not straight from the oven. It was our first time there so I didn’t know to check the order items myself, etc.

Annyyywhoo! I will order ahead next time. Besides the order mix up, the wait time was purely an expectation issue on my end. It did seem like everyone was working hard to get all the orders fulfilled.

It’s Friday the 13th, so I decided to try out Spooky’s for the first time.

*shakes fist* This was a perfect opportunity to have a coupon!

Oh well, I can’t stay made at you Spooky. Your pizza is seriously good. Something about the mozzarella, it’s saltier than other places and I’m really digging it.

And how is your menu so extensive when you guys are a little hole in the wall? It’s refreshing to see.

I love the Halloween novelty atmosphere. Very unique.

I’ll definitely be back to try another pizza and I gotta see how the subs are.

It’s awesome to support and to have unique local shops and restaurants!

I don’t even know where to start. The staff is extraordinary kind and the pizza was spooky delicious. I have never tried their food till today. We had gotten the “walking bread” and a large pizza. I absolutely love shops like this and I hope they continue to do amazing!!

This is a true 5 star review. Top 5 best pizza I’ve ever tasted. I’m a craft pizza snob, and have reviewed A LOT of pizza places. Gotta say, Spookys might be my new favorite (bold move Cotton).

First off, it is located north of the VA and kinda in the middle of nowhere. We were coming late from softball practice on a Friday night, about 30 minutes before they close (called ahead to ask if that was too late… We didn’t want to be rude or inconsiderate). But everyone was really nice. Inside was a 4 seater table, and a few table top seats. It appears mostly a delivery or take out kind of place. It was a really nice evening, so we ate outside on the tables.

We ordered the “Hell cheeses over” on thin crust and it was fabulous. The thin crust is the way I like it – not very doughy, thin but not brittle or too crispy. Lots of cheese and other toppings. The XL, which was only $2 more than the large, was enough to feed me, my wife, and daughter after a long day, late hungry dinner, and overeating because the flavor was so good. We still took home 4 pieces. Cost was around $30, which is a touch high, but it did feed 3 hungry people with leftovers. The toppings were all the way to the edge of the pizza, which is very rare.

Then the Pinnacle of the evening, the owner came out and spoke with us for a long time, in a good way. He told us how the name “Spookys” came about, and other very interesting topics. The business is a “private membership association” and if you go, ask about it since this review is already very long.

I’m looking forward to coming back, and trying other items. Very impressed with Spookys.

We always pass by this place and when we do, it’s not open. They have late afternoon hours. Well, today we passed by when they were open! We ordered a large burnt offering specialty pizza. Alfredo sauce, jalapeños, banana peppers, sausage, and pepper flakes. It is pretty darn good! The dough looks like it’s seasoned with Italian seasoning right in the dough. I don’t think I have ever seen that before. Another cool thing they offer is vegan/vegetarian menu. They have lots of items to chose from. We will have to come back and try their burgers and subs.
Definite must try if you are in the area.
