This is one of our favorite fast food places in Salem. Sometimes the wait is a bit long, but they have done much better lately. The food is good and hot. Whenever they make a mistake on the order it’s always in my favor. I regularly get extra chicken. The staff is usually super sweet too. Love the fries and rice and beans for sides. Also really like the buttery biscuits, but the spicy chicken is king.

The size of chicken tenders I just received is absolutely a joke. One of them is literally just barely a quarter inch of meat, the rest breading. All 3 pieces are pitiful, like the meat came from a malnourished sickly chicken. Ridiculous. The last few times I’ve been to this location it has been a let-down.

I didn’t remember to take a picture for this review until I got to the apple pie because it was all so delicious. I got popcorn shrimp and fries. Everything was fresh and just the right amount of spicy. The staff was quick and friendly and gave suggestions since I’d never been there before. I will definitely go here again. Much better than other Popeyes I’ve been to. The only thing I didn’t like was that they don’t have fish or onion rings like other Popeyes. Maybe they’ll have more in the future since they just opened.

Drive through is always 15 min wait. Good food but needs better management and time management as well. Staff is friendly an helpful. There’s a disconnect somewhere and it’s hurting drive through wait times. If chick fil la can get ya through and served less than 10 min Popeyes can too.

Worst Popeyes I have ever been too. I normally love to eat Popeyes. It is one of my favorite fast food restaurants. This one however is not good. The staff are rude and unfriendly. We ordered a chicken sandwich meal and a 5 piece tender meal. We did not get one drink or fries for our meals. When we went to point this out the window was slammed open and closed. Everything was cold. The lady working the drive thru seemed to be on an intense drug. She had no recollection of where she was or what was going on at all.

Spotty service and availability of food. The chicken sandwich is good. Sides are spicy. I have to order the mashed potatoes without the gravy. Had a large cup of ice tea burst out the bottom of the cup and spill out all over my car. Not happy about that. A little pricey for fast food.
Edit… excellent service. The woman brought it to me, asked if I wanted butter and honey, very pleasant. I’ve never had anyone from any Popeyes ever ask me if I wanted those 2 things. Food was great. Got popcorn shrimp, mashed potatoes with out gravy. I’ll be back.

We love Popeyes! But this location not so much! We have ate here 4 or 5 times and every single time there have been issues! Twice they told me to pull around and they would bring my food out, after 15 minutes both times I had to get out of ky vehicle and go inside! Twice I’ve gotten home with the food and it’s not spicy like I ordered but mild! And no dipping sauce TWICE! Won’t be back!

I shouldn’t have to wait for my order to be taken so the manager on duty can make out with her boyfriend in the dining room. Also, you tell me it will be a wait for spicy tenders but you have mild ready so I order mild then I’m told it’s going to be a wait on them too. Get it together Popeyes. Looks like your staff is too busy socializing with one another and not very worried about customers or cleanliness of the store. I would not revisit if my husband didn’t love the chicken sandwiches.

Came in from travelling thru the area. Stood in line to order. The kitchen didn’t have any chicken ready, a 10 minute wait, besides waiting 10 minutes in line. While in line a customer brought his fries back and asked if he could get some hot fries, his were cold. The girl touched them with her finger and then made a snide look. We just left and didn’t eat there. Very unprofessional and not prepared for people to come in.
