My wife and I were on a drive from Brooklyn to Erie, PA, and my wife found this restaurant (also called “The Greek Shack”) while doing a Google Maps search. It was a great find: wonderful views from the lakeside deck, and delicious Greek food. The portions were substantial. I had the Greek rice bowl and my wife had a terrific Greek salad. They also brought out warm pita and tzatziki as a bread plate. The only minor downside is that the restaurant is at the far end of a private development, and you need to stop at a security gate for a restaurant pass. But if you’re in the area, the food is worth it.

This place has come a long way and still standing. I tried breakfast when first opened/debuted, and I was not happy at all, to say the least. Ordered egg white omelet, no cheese, and just did not get what I ordered. After hearing much better reviews from other patrons, I decided to give it one more try. I must say i was pleasantly surprised . Our waitress (sorry forgot name) greeted us with a smile. Hot coffee and water arrived not even 10mins after sitting! Ordered breakfast and about another 15mins-20mins, breakfast arrived coupled w the most beautiful lake views on this side of Drums PA❣️ . Will definitely be coming back w the family! Thank you, Beech Mountain Lakes! We finally have breakfast in our “backyard”✌️

I love the mini beach area they have and after the sun settles go inside the play house to swim at the big indoor pool and hot tub they offer.
