The bartender had great customer service. I guess the cook decided to leave so there was only fried foods available. The pretzel bites and queso taste great. Cool atmosphere and easy to get to.

Update 2/2022. Still a cool spot. Great beer. Did is good. Service is pleasantly slow and very friendly.
Clean and welcoming throughout that is also family friendly. Large portions of bbq wings and traditional bar food. Lots of homemade sauces and ingredients. Very friendly service that could be just a little faster. Prices good for quantity of food. New pinball machines were a nice touch.

Small but fun bar! Went here with my parents and we had a great time. Staff is friendly and beer was cold. Lots of different tap options, they also serve food. They also have a few poker machines. Great little spot if you’re a local or if you’re just passing through.

4 of us went to S.O.B last night to see Matt Martin & The 45s perform live. Had a great time. What impressed us the most is the locals, after a journeyman’s amount of imbibing, all were friendly and respectful.
Will definitely make this a regular stop. I did not discover the story behind the name of the place….next time.

Staying at the Best Western I looked across and noticed Sons of Beer so I walked over for dinner and WOW was I impressed. Cool place with rustic tin walls and license plates all over the walls. I had the S.O.B. burger with fries and it was super delicious. I will definitely eat here again next time in Prineville.

Late dinner after a day at the fair. Place was pretty quiet on a Fri night. Ordered burgers and chicken sandwiches with beers and a basket of jalapeño bites as an appetizer. Server was friendly and efficient considering she was running the place on her own. Beers and app came out quickly. Bites were great, kids loved them. Food arrived shortly after hot and perfectly cooked with tons of fries or tots. Even played a game of pinball while we waited. Overall, great service.
