Came up to the area to buy a trailer. Needed to eat breakfast and so I googled this place. It did NOT disappoint. This place is a tiny little, hole in the wall, EXCELLENT find for a quick but delicious meal. We got two chicken biscuits, an ultimate breakfast sandwich and a bacon/egg/cheese on toast. All of them were great. I felt like I was back at home as a child, eating something my mama made.
Don’t pass this place up. We need to keep these places open for many years to come.

I remember when this place opened over a decade ago – the fried chicken (and all the food for that matter) was the best in Georgia back then. We recently passed through and stopped for lunch – still the best!!! Get a slice of cake (or two) to go so you can savor the flavor later! 100% recommend as one of the best restaurants in Georgia!

My coworkers and I visited this restaurant along with 16 others totally 21 people for lunch. They can’t accommodate a large crowd at once. This Resturant is very small inside, it could seat 24 people and the seat are very uncomfortable. They have outdoor seating with no fans and the bathroom is outside. The young lady that was fixing the drinks got an attitude with the costumers also on of the cashiers. I’m not sure who Aunt D was bout the older female was nice and patient. There was a young lady that came from the back she was nice. Now the food I had the fish 8/10 to crunchy but good and seasoned. My coworker had the bake and fried chicken breast 0/10 it was dry. The greens 0/10, the macaroni & cheese 5/10. Cheeseburger 8/10. Sweet potato pie 3/10, Racism from some customers 10/10

Me n my wife came to this little town as a little getaway coming from Ohio and were hungry for some lunch and this place already had a lot of great reviews so we gave it a try since I’m a sucker for fried catfish.. and I definitely have to say this is hands down the best catfish I have ever had. The breading wasn’t too much and they seasoned it to perfection I usually use hot sauce for my catfish but this was so good I ate it by itself.. the pinto beans were absolutely delicious and seasoned perfectly and my wife had the fried tomatoes with hush puppies as her sides.. I’d definitely give this place a 10/10 and will most definitely be coming back if I’m ever in the area again.. total gem of a spot. Everything was super fresh and over the top delicious slap ya mama good

What a gem! We drove past it because there was a yard sale sign in the window and sone T’s for the restaurant- so we were thrown off, but so glad we went in. Food was so good! My friend had the fried chicken and said it was wonderful! I had fried cabbage (yum) and liver and onions (not everyone’s favorite but I was craving it) and “REAL” mashed potatoes! And then we had to try the strawberry cake and we loved it also! The two young women taking orders were so helpful and sweet! A hidden gem behind a deceptive facade.

This is a hole in the wall dive restaurant, but the food…omg!! It was some of the best eating EVER!! Can’t wait to go back.
Edit: went back today 1/18/24 and had the hamburger steak…you guys!! It was so dang good, kind of sad about not getting the fried green tomatoes, but y’all made up with it when I ordered the additional side of black eyed peas.
Not only did you guys “PUT YOUR FOOT IN THAT FOOD” you also tapped danced right into my soul with some good home cooking, ya’ll have some of the friendliest staff over there and look forward to being able to come back again. ❤️
Maybe next time I’ll order breakfast!!

We bought two red velvet and German chocolate cake, oh my God. We drove two hours to pick up the cakes for our family get together. When I say the cakes where moist, fresh ingredients and the best homemade tasting cakes you can ever eat. I mean it. We got cat fish plates that was sooooo good and hot and seasoned to perfection. The service is great and the atmosphere is like eating at your grandma’s Sunday dinner with family.

friendly staff, home cooked tasty meals. minimal indoor seating but does have shaded outdoor seating. Daily lunch specials. it was very busy weekend morning, n at lunch time when we’ve been. will return!
