I’ll call this place a hidden gem, only because it was a gem for lunch and it want real busy when we stopped.
We were in Chesterfield and looking a a Mexican restaurant to try. When El Salto showed up and I looked at the menu, we decided to give it a try… And we weren’t disappointed. As soon as I saw the shrink cocktail on the menu, I knew what I wanted. Since it was lunch, she had to order the lunch fajitas. Both we’re very good and the amount of food was generous.
So, if you like Mexican food and are in the area, you may want to give this place a try.

Went there for lunch wasn’t croweded at all server was awesome fast courteous friendly. I got fajita nachos was delicious an she got chili verde. Also delicious. They didn’t have alcohol i heard they were closing. What a bummer. Darn chesterfield mall gone i guess definitely will be back till thry do

The food is great. No liquor (again… it seems to come and go with their license), their slushies and popsicles they had posted in the window were in fact not a thing, and I ordered a second queso ($15) to go, and the waiter wouldn’t give me chips to go with it. They were an extra cost. I’m literally flabbergasted… we only had two bowls of chips with dinner for a table of 4 with some left over. Curious why a large queso wouldn’t come with its own chips if we left the restaurant.
When I asked to speak with the manager, he informed me he was his son and was speaking for him. Alright then… ADIOS!

Clean, new inside. Plenty of parking. At this time, they don’t have alcohol license so no adult drinks.
What I was missing more – kids menu and excellent service.
Polo Acapulco was done well, Tilapia was well liked and my son enjoyed rice and shrimps.
Once service improves, kids menu added and cervesa is available – this will good spot.

Going to eat here with 2+ people is perfect. The prices are not high at all, which makes it easy to just stop by randomly and have some great mexican food. The food here is flavorful and the portions are not small!

The shrimp was very good and the quesadilla was also good, but the cheese in the quesadilla had an “American cheese” texture to it. That weird texture ruined it a bit for me, but I’d definitely come back! The chips and salsa were good and the staff was friendly and pretty quick! Gave 4 out of 5 because of the cheese.

We stopped here for a late Sunday lunch. First thing we noticed was how great the salsa tasted and second was how clean the restaurant was kept. We ordered and food came out quickly. The portions were great and the flavor was spot on. The right amount of salt and spice (not heat) delivered a delicious experience. We would highly recommend. Give them a try.

There are lots of Mexican restaurants in Chesterfield and the rest of St. Louis, so this comparison is specifically to those in the area.
Restaurant is pretty new, so nice clean eating area. I had something new which turned out to be something I’ll describe as a deep fried Taco. Meh. Didn’t really like it. But I had a drink that was excellent and kinda surprised us all when it came out in a bowl! We thought they were bringing food to the wrong table.
My wife as always had fajitas they were good. Daughter had the enchiladas again pretty good. A fun time great service but nothing really stood out to me. Just another Mexican restaurant.
I’d definitely return for that $16 drink though.

New place in Chesterfield. Quick and friendly service. I had their Birria tacos and they were tasty. Just the right amount of meat and cheese. Husband and son enjoyed their meals too.
