I am surprised at the low reviews for this place. It is a hole in the wall for sure, but we had some of the best burritos I have had in many years. Authentic Mexican food and a very nice lady taking our order.

If you look at the front of this place and think “this looks like a great place to get excellent Mexican food at a good price” then you’d be correct. It’s mostly street fare – tacos, burritos, gorditas, and apparently excellent tamales (according to my wife) – that you’d expect to find in a roadside stand.

All-in-all, it’s not much to look at, but well worth a quick detour if you’re headed up 99

Cash only establishment** Got a adobada torta. Literally, had crumbs of adobada felt like I was eating bread with lettuce and sour cream. The carnitas plate was not too bad. A little burnt but the salsa helped.
