It’s more than a great local place to get breakfast! In town visiting family was looking for local places to eat and found this with great reviews. Everything is perfect here, coffee is spot on, biscuits are fresh and delicious and goes great with sausage gravy. They were giving out free samples of a new desert they are trying out looking for reviews. Once you get done eating go shopping in the store to get locally grown beef and vegetables and much more! And they have Christmas trees! Go get a tree support local

The staff loads everything with care, making the experience even better. I had the chance to chat with the owner, who shared that they’ll be hosting family-friendly events during both the fall and Christmas seasons. This is one of my absolute top favorite places to get food, even when their cafe is closed, they have something to serve everyone. Last week I got their potato soup and jalapeno cornbread, this week I got their chicken noodle soup and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. With a brown sugar pecan meringue cookie for dessert. The store keepers are friendly and helpful, and keep the store so tidy!
This place is also a market that offers literally everything from jams to gardening seeds, ALL their food is HOMEMADE, and it is all fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place. An absolute must visit!!!

You should absolutely buy your live christmas tree here. Your whole food’s tree will die in a week and it wont smell like hilltop’s trees either. I walk by my tree from hilltop and get a whiff of that sweet aroma EVERY time!

Nice little jewel at a farmers market type store. Catfish nuggets perfectly seasoned and cooked. Hamburger steak needed some seasoning, but otherwise, it was very good. Sides were pretty good – mac&cheese a little dry but tasted good; Grits & greens casserole VERY good; Butter beans and corn on the cob very good; Hushpuppies very good. Peach fried pie – perfect!
