There’s a difference between wood fired and BURNT. We had really high hopes for this place , paid $61 for 2 pizzas and a single arancini. Flavor was good at first but then quickly overpowered by a bitter burnt taste . Likely would not come back here , might be different if dining in .

The pizza here is outstanding and the owners and staff are great people. The quality of the ingredients is top notch. The crust is aways perfect, the cheeses are high quality – you can tell when a cheese is not the mass produced foodservice kind. A couple of years ago I got takeout and everything was excellent as usual. A couple days later I got a partial refund and an email that said the crust on that night wasn’t as good as they wanted it to be (seemed fine to me) so they were refunding those pizzas – never had that happen before but speaks to their standards.

Good pizza – crust was a bit soggy on the spicy salami but the flavors were amazing. A little lighter on the toppings and oil would have helped (though the Calabrian chili honey was quite good). We also got the Mushroom, which was excellent! Prices were a little high I thought for the level of service and food, but still a nice dinner overall. I would definitely go back!

Excellent Neapolitan pizza. – loved the unique Valley Special pizza with pepperoni, goat cheese and peaches. Super fresh ingredients. Also delicious salad and gelato. On top of that, the service was superb! Highly recommend.

Very cute pizza shop in downtown. Slightly pricier than your standard pizza but the ingredients are super fresh. We tried the clam pizza when we went it and it was surprisingly very good. Also got the valley special (which I believe is not always the same). I also thought their cocktails were surprisingly good for a pizza place. Seating is a little close together so go early if you don’t want to be cramped.

I have been here a few times now and every time it’s a great experience. Food is terrific! I highly recommend the Olives, they are out of this world! The pizza is delicious and not too pricey. Drinks are pretty good too. Top 5 dining locations in the area in my opinion.

Margarita pizza is Excellent!!! Salads are large and great. Dessert, affragato, vanilla ice cream with espresso is Excellent. However, every time I go I order a Manhattan and every time I am greatly disappointed. It’s an EXTREMELY small glass, like a toy or doll house thing, literally half what you get, or less at Nick’s or McMenimans, about one sixth the size of a medium Pina Colada at Molcajetes and basically ZERO alcohol for the SAME price. I have mentioned this before to Capo, but nothing’s changed, so I give up. After dinner at The Capo, I cross the street to get a decent sized Manhattan or superb Pina Colada at Molcajetes. All’s well that ends well.

Rare find in Oregon. As a native New Yorker I simply gotta say this pizza is just incredible. I can’t believe it’s in Oregon. You will find traditional wood fired pizza here.

Expect seasonal local ingredients for weekly specials. Our favorite pies on the menu are the Meatball and The Jabroni (one of the best pepperoni pies you can get). The spicy salami is close to the top too. Their in house chili oil is spicy and full of flavor.

Recently they started offering weekly pasta specials. They are incredible. String selection of wines and beers. They have a cocktail menu you too, but no dedicated bartender.

We love ordering pizza to go or eating in house. Note if you order pizza to go it’s a thicker crust then in house. This travels better and is a bigger. The in house pies are a thinner crust that are best enjoyed straight out of the oven. Come here hungry and expect to leave full.

Pro tip the dessert menu is full of sleeper items. Their cannoli remind me of being in little Italy in NYC.

Although my wife enjoys pizza, she is not one to generally request it. If it’s there, sure, she’ll have a slice, but its never high on her list of choice cuisines. After our visit to Pizza Capo on Saturday though, that is likely to change!

There was about a 20-minute wait for a table which, again, since we’re talking about *pizza*, that’s a good sign that great things are to come. Not just anybody can pull off such a patrician presentation of an otherwise plebian provision, but the people behind Pizza Capo apparently know what they’re doing. We ended up ordering the Spicy Salami, with the (recommended by our server) addition of some prosciutto, and goat cheese. We were warned against its heat level, but as my wife and I are Capsaicin Champions, it ended up being perfect: deliciously thin, oily, spicy and savory – one of the best pizzas my wife and I have had anywhere, ever!

Add to that a Paper Plane (one of my favorite cocktails, and one that is rarely on a menu), a glass of wine, and a prosciutto board (because apparently we hadn’t had enough!), and you end up with a meal so fantastic, it has completely changed my wife’s opinion of pizza as more than a just a lazy answer to the incessant question of “What’s for dinner?”; it can also be one of the finest dining experiences around, when in hands as capable as these! Who’s the boss?! Pizza Capo!

ALWAYS delicious with friendly service. I love everything about this cute little wood fired pizza place. The decor is fresh, modern and comfortable. I especially love the big copper pizza oven. If you are a person that is always cold ask to sit in the back near the pizza oven. I was pleasantly toasty in a good way.

I have tried most of their pizzas. It’s hard to choose because I love them all.
This night we were celebrating my daughters promotion. We ordered celebratory drinks. I was super excited to see they had a Christmas cocktail in the menu called Candy Cane Martini. It was delicious!
The key to getting pleasantly full at capo is to order appetizers first. The pizzas are slightly bigger than a personal size pizza. So if you’re hungry 2 people would require 2 pizzas or at least an appetizer and maybe share a salad. Also do not miss seasonal specials. I love how creative the chefs are.
My party of 4 chose the following:
The Nduja-Roasted Carrots
Nduja salami-roasted Even Pull Farm carrots, roasted red and seed onion, shallot, parsley Honey whipped fromage blanc and fennel pollen mint.
These carrots were packed with flavor and melted in my mouth.

We also ordered a salad to share a large
Even Pull Farm Winter Green Salad $14.00
Even Pull Farm chicory mix, anchovy vinaigrette, parmigiano, garlic bread crumbs, and parsley. The garlic bread crumbs were Incredible the dressing was lovely and just the perfect amount.

For pizza we ordered
My favorite is Jabroni Pizza $24.00
Tomato Sauce, Pepperoni, Garlic, Oregano, Provolone, Mozzarella and finished with fresh Basil and Parmigiano.
Delicious, juicy with well thought out ingredients and so much flavor.
And a Margherita Pizza $20.00
Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Basil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Parmigiano. Can’t go wrong with a Margherita!

For dessert we shared a Zuppa Inglese (seasonal) spumoni flavored tiramisu. INCREDIBLE! Not a huge dessert but enough for us all to have a couple bites.
