Roy’s is that place on Anguilla!
The only difference between “that place” and Roy’s? Roy’s sits on a pristine beach with white powder sand and gin clear water.
It’s an amazing combination of visual and culinary excellence! Don’t miss It!
My favorites:
Breakfast- each trip I have to get the Corned beef hash breakfast. It is the best I have ever had. The Bloody Mary is a work of art and a meal in itself.
Lunch- The corned beef reuben is the standard I hold all others to. Can’t go wrong with a burger. Even the bun is homemade. the salad is so fresh, too for when you need to dial it back from too many rich vacation meals.
Dinner- French onion soup. Anything with a side of scalloped potatoes. Panko chicken, fish & chips…The fish is local and fresh. Last time I was there a fisherman was making a delivery. It was nice to see fish arriving in something other than a frozen cardboard box.
Dessert you can’t go wrong with the cookie pie.
Now I’m hungry & craving Roy’s but I’m 1800 miles away. See you next year!

If there’s one place that consistently wins my heart (and stomach) no matter the time of day, it’s **Roy’s Bayside Grill**, tucked away on the calm sands of Sandy Ground. Whether I’m popping in for a casual breakfast, a hearty dinner, or grabbing something to-go between adventures, Roy’s always delivers.
Let’s talk about the star of the show: **the Lobster Bisque**. Creamy, rich, and filled with generous chunks of fresh lobster, this dish is a warm, velvety hug in a bowl. It’s the kind of bisque that makes you pause mid-conversation just to savor the moment. If you’re a seafood lover (or just someone with taste buds), trust me—*this is the one*. It’s become my go-to comfort dish and one I can never resist ordering… even when I *promise* myself I’ll try something new.
But don’t be fooled—**everything** on the menu is good. Roy’s knows how to do it all, from tender steaks to fresh fish grilled to perfection. And today? I switched it up with a relaxed **breakfast by the beach** and grabbed a **burger to go** for later (because when you eat here often, you learn to plan ahead). Their breakfast is the perfect mix of laid-back and delicious—eggs just how you like them, crispy bacon, and coffee that pairs perfectly with the ocean breeze.
The burger? Juicy, flavorful, and stacked just right. It’s one of those burgers that reminds you why simple ingredients, done well, always win.
Aside from the food, the vibe at Roy’s is unbeatable. It’s casual but charming, with friendly service and a setting that makes you want to linger just a little longer. Whether you’re a local or just visiting the island, Roy’s feels like home.
**Final thoughts**: Come for the view, stay for the bisque. Roy’s Bayside Grill is one of those rare places where every meal feels special, no matter how many times you’ve been. If you haven’t dined here yet, what are you waiting for?
