We popped in for a Friday night dinner. It was almost empty in the restaurant but that may just be because the storm is coming and it’s freezing out. We ordered the croquette and karaage for apps and were happy overall, they were fried fresh and we had no complaints. We also ordered several hand rolls and sushi and were somewhat underwhelmed by the quality. The toro was not even whole pieces unfortunately but small minced pieces which was odd and reminiscent of a paste. The fish itself was ok but did not taste particularly fresh. We also ordered drinks, the doki doki was strong but not terrible and the peach high ball was tasty. Probably will not be coming back but if you really just need a quick lunch it’s doable. You do get a free beer or lemonade with your review so that may be adding to the number of reviews. Lastly service was alright but nothing to write home about.

I will come here again to review, but so far I think all the food I had was very tasty. I will be honest it wasn’t the top best fresh sushi I had though. But it’s definitely good and the atmosphere vibe is lovely. My favorite hand roll was the ikura salmon one.
Also funny but the playlist playing was so perfect for a girl’s night at the time.

I had a great experience at Ocean Code. I ordered the toro truffle hand roll, Alaskan crab hand roll, mame-nori maki, and the wagyu shisho ikura. The first three were easily my favorites — incredibly fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality of the fish, especially in the toro and crab.
Everything was prepared with care, and the hospitality stood out just as much as the food. Friendly, attentive service that made the experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to if you’re looking for high-quality sushi in the area.

If you are craving sushi….LET THIS BE WHERE YOU EAT. The fish and sashimi is so incredibly fresh it feels like butter melting in your mouth (especially the salmon). Theres a variety of different rolls and sashimi along with appetizers available. Their drinks are so very much unmatched and original. The atmosphere is very chic and the servers are so kind and attentive. It’s also very affordable and the restaurant overall is very great. Their dessert is also great like the mochi or tiramisu.

Delicious restaurant in Carle Place! We came here for lunch and enjoyed their hand rolls, chirashi bowl, and udon. The space is beautiful and well spaced. The decor is modern and create a great atmosphere for your dining experience. Food is made with high quality ingredients. Parking is easy with a huge lot. The price is moderate. I would recommend to give this place a try!
