I’m so glad we discovered this little restaurant, recently. We were looking for a good Oaxacan restaurant in Culver city. Firstly, they were very welcoming, chips and salsa were served to us and it was really good. I knew from the salsa that it was going to be good food! We ordered agua de Jamaica and passionfruit, so fresh. The taquitos were crispy and were loaded with cheese, crema and guacamole. The mole was so good, I’m not a huge fan of sweet, but my bf is and he love his chicken mole plate. The concha was soft and freshly made! I definitely recommend this place and we plan to come back and try other dishes.

First bite almost broke my tooth in what looks like a peach seed in the beans. If anyone can explain this recipe, I will improve this review. Also, the rice and beans were not worth the extra 10 dollars. Especially since I’m too scared to eat any of this food now.

First time eating at this delicious restaurant! They greeted us with a smile and a basket of fresh corn tortilla chips and a side of spicy salsa, We ordered Entomatadas, Memelas and a Mixed plate (too delicious no time for a picture). Jamaica water is just delicious…

Juquila friendly service and authentic Mexican food are top notch. Roomy with plenty of table and bar seating. Immaculately clean restrooms, kitchen and dining area. Affordably priced menu. Authentic Oaxaca Mexican cuisine prepared to perfection! An assortment of refreshing Mexican beers are served in ice cold glasses. it’s a good place to bring friends & family for authentic Mexican dining.

Waitress was very polite the ambience was simple yet decent. Food arrived promptly and hot despite; it being too salty (my tacos)no pun intended. My companion had the mole burrito and he gobbled it down like a lion with some steak. He compared it to one of our favorite burrito places. The margaritas were decent could be better but for 9$ why not?I’ll give this place another shot.
So I tried again but left immediately because there was stuff in my water and the cup was dirty also some weird thing inside the margarita.

Overall a great establishment, super friendly staff, and super tasty food. I came here about 3 days after being in Oaxaca Mexico so it did have quite a bar to live up to & very nearly achieved it; as far as Mexican food options go in the US, this was an incredible stand out place

Jose and Lulu took great care of me the other night. The food was excellent, but they were busy because they were the only 2 working with a full restaurant. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a while though. Margs were solid, and Jose even gave me one on the house because I was speaking so much Spanish! If you have A1 Spanish proficiency (like me), go here for friendly waitstaff and maybe a free drink!

This is a great place to come and chill. They have happy hours from 3 to 7 pm i believe. Their Michelada has a great taste and its a very reasonable price for happy hour. Hubby and I had a couple of them and we order an empanadas with Flor de Calabasa which also we enjoyed along with the micheladas. And the end we order a molcajete they said is enough for one person. But honestly the size was more than enough to finish our dinner. I recommend this place for an authentic Oaxacan food, we will be back soon to enjoy this place again. So long Juquila!!
