The AI drive thru ordering is annoying and atrocious, other locations nearby still let actual humans take orders. Please get rid of the bot, I am begging!
Our biggest gripe with this location, though? EVERY SINGLE TIME we order in the drive thru, they send customers out of line to wait for their food. “We’re waiting on fries.” “We’re waiting on fresh eggs.” It’s always something! Doesn’t matter if we’re the only car in line or not. Anyone who knows how fast food works knows it’s just a method to make it look like they’re moving customers through quicker than they actually are… One morning we waited with half a dozen other customers’ cars while the drive thru sat totally empty.
As for the staff here, they’re all delightful, no complaints at all. Food generally comes out acceptably, and the restaurant grounds are always clean and kept up.

I placed a mobile order before leaving work and still had to wait almost 20 minutes for an individual dinner. Several cars passed through the drive thru during that time. The excuse was waiting on fresh chicken—- it’s rush hour and they do this quite often. Obviously no one is tracking the amount of chicken that is being sold during these peek times. This site used to be my family’s go to after church but we’ve decided to choose somewhere else.

Waited 40 minutes for food and it wasn’t busy. Cashier was too busy visiting with her toddler son to get orders ready. I left lobby and used the drive-thru and got my food immediately. Husband was in the lobby even after I finished my meal. Cashier wasn’t professional and I’d never visit this store again

The food was okay, but we waited for over 30 minutes for our food and instead of the staff being apologetic they were HATEFUL. The girl working the drive through literally shoved our food at us and said “here you go” and we almost dropped the entire bag of food because it was just tossed to us. I will absolutely never return simply because of the service.

Poor service every time I stop here it’s we don’t have this or that.Every time it’s short line like 1 car in front of me and no one behind me and long wait like 20 min it’s we are waiting on that to cook is that ok. I have been here 15 min and no new customers or no customers in the store and it’s Saturday night at 7:43 Pm I travel all over the state and have always had good service at any other location but never had good service in asheboro.Need new management team here . I believe they only cook for the customer as you order now 7:46 I have my food but not one new customer has came to this store. Humm I wonder why

Food was ok chicken was so crunchy ty he biscuit was under cooked. The seasoned pintos were so hot it melted the lid. To pieces of the lid were in my beans (as pictured). I didn’t return the food bc I was mentally exhausted!

The speed of service and the friendliness of the staff is a great representation of southern hospitality. Being in law enforcement, I often need something quick to pick up and this bojangles is quick, clean, has good food, and overall amazing service. This has to be one of the best bojangles I’ve been to.
