My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time on our way home from Tuscaloosa. This is a fun little place! Their bar and restaurant seating are split into two areas, and there are TVs everywhere. Decor had us giggling, especially the Eat Mor Beef chickens! Our server, Jessica, was a hoot and took real good care of us. She steered us first timers in the right direction and our steaks did not disappoint! My filet was yummy and oh so tender, and his ribeye tasted like it came straight off a grill – complete with char! A couple menu items are house made, such as the ranch dressing and the fry batter. We were entertained by live karaoke music and enjoyed our vibrating bench seat (we sat right behind the drink machine!) Oh and Jessica makes the perfect Arnold Palmer! Not too much lemonade, just the right amount of tea.

Just have a look at my wife’s plate (it’s laughable). The prices are high for what tastes like food bought at the grocery store and cooked at home. None of us liked it or thought we will ever come back. We much prefer Texas Roadhouse, longhorns, etc. The onion rings and broccoli were good. The rest? Not so much.

Tried this place for the first time tonight, I must say I was pleasantly surprised!! Everything was awesome. I will definitely be going back! I will say this thou, most of the time calling ahead is a bad idea!!! But I honestly get that especially since I worked in the hospitality business!! THE MOST IMPORTANT CUSTOMER IS THE ONE STANDING IN FRONT OF YOU!! A lot of people don’t get that. The one in front of you is pretty much guaranteed cash, the one on the phone is 50/50 at best. They may show up to get their order however the one in front of you is a guarantee!!!

I order shrimp and grits no sausage or other meats for I am pescatarian and the grits were so dry and seemed old and full of bacon and sausage so I told waitress to bring the two sides which was salad and onion rings.. of course the onion rings tasted old and dry plus they were cold .. I ate one and didn’t even bother . She asked if I wanted to substitute the old grits for something else .. so I just told here bring me a regular salad .. so 5 tiny cold shrimp and a salad is all I ate!! I was charged $25 dollars for food I didn’t eat due to poor quality .. I won’t be doing that again.. this experience was the worst for me and is the main reason I don’t eat out anymore .. lack of presentation and service .. I was not even checked on almost the whole time I was there .. I was highly upset and wish I wasn’t charged for food I didn’t even eat due to it being extremely old .. not cool at all! Salad was a substitution but she still charged me for the shrimp and grits almost 20$
