Honestly its been a couple years since the last time we visited this restaurant, but my oh my I must say the food has improved since our last visit. We came in on a rainy day for lunch and the place was about half full. The staff were very friendly and were able to tell us about the special limited food items they had on this day. We ended up going with some of the traditional things and everything was tasty. I particularly enjoyed the savory rice roll with the fried dough stick and pork floss inside, all the right textures and flavors. It was very satisfying. The tofu with pork floss was great for washing the roll down. The other items were on point, but next time I’d go without the crispy sesame bun. Just order more fried dough sticks!

A hidden gem! Great food! Friendly service! Clean and spacious environment! Much cleaner and less busy than the Rowland Heights location. They have seats for waiting/to-gos and doesn’t smell like raw sewage like the Rowland location. Would definitely recommend this place!

I think this is one of the best Yi Mei I’ve been to. Plenty of seating area and great food. Ordered the usual crispy Chinese pancake. Combined with the lil garlic soy sauce and they don’t disappoint. YUMMMY!

Finally sat down for breakfast at a place that we frequent!!! We always drop by to get their frozen dumplings because they are great value for money but we’ve never actually had their other items. So happy to finally sit down for breakfast. The soy beancurd was pretty good value for money. The serving was huge! The sugar syrup was a little sweet but I can imagine kids loving it. The daikon cake was crisp on the outside and very soft on the inside. The sweet rice roll was really interesting. Love it! It was soooo filling though!

This place is very authentically Taiwanese. Every time I pass by, I have to get their breakfast rice rolls, and I always end up buying two or more.

Their other breakfast items, like scallion pancakes and egg crepes, are also pretty good. Highly recommend the soy milk as well, and some of the smaller side items are definitely worth trying too.

This is a no-frills, nice, simple and quick place to get some solid food. We ordered a few items to snack on.  Some of the items we ordered included – Daikon Cake with egg (great texture), pork chop rice, dumplings, and wonton noodle soup. The pork chop was nice and crispy and the pickled veggies went well with it. The dumplings were pretty solid and full of meat and flavor.  Overall,  worth checking out.

Authentic Taiwanese Branch. I’ve already tried two times, and it’s good. Prices are a little bit expensive from my POV. Services are okay. Recommend Soy milk, Chicken Porridge, Chinese Donut in my opinion. Pork Chop Rice can be slightly better in my opinion. Probably come back to try soup, noodles, or specialties next time.

Very crowded. I think they could have more employees working there. Food is okay, love the egg pancake and the purple rice roll. The savory soy milk is a bit too thin and not flavorful enough.

Good food, nice service, but atmosphere has to improve.

We had Taiwanese breakfast which was sticky rice, egg omelet, soy milk.

Delicious foods as recommended, but some items were sold out and need more staffs to serve and keep the restaurant clean.

This Yimei (Chinohill) used to serve delicious frozen dumplings, steamed buns, and chive pancakes(韭菜盒子)—foods popular with Asians.
However, a few months ago, the meat in the dumplings started becoming foamy and fishy, just like other location Yimei franchises. Paying (frozen dumplings) $30 a bag, which was previously $25, is no longer a good option.
