Everything about this location is great. The staff is very welcoming and kind and ready to give recommendations. The atmosphere is clean and traditional. I’ve had many meals here and none have been a disappointment. The curry is incredible and made in house. I highly recommend this restaurant to those looking for authentic Japanese food and not just sushi or ramen.

This was our first time visiting after new ownership has taken over.

My wife and I went for dinner. She ordered the tonkatsu ramen and I ordered the pork and chicken katsu rice.

The Curry was very good, probably the best ive had in the States, lots of depth in flavor. Between the Pork and Chicken. The pork was way better.

The complaint is the rice could have been better cooked. It was hard in my opinion. Which means it did not absorb the curry sauce very well.
Would still definitely order again.

For the ramen, the broth was great, the pork belly could have been better cooked and more generous in size.

Complaint I have is that the broth came out warm not hot and the noodles were very thin. There is an upcharge for “wavy noodles”.

Came here because I saw a review. They have a really good Japanese curry that my son really likes. My daughter also likes their ramen. The tempura was not too thick with batter, and crunchy.

Really happy to see Ino open again. Great authentic Japanese feed.
Ramen – Tied for the best in Dallas. Broth is very balanced taste and drinkable.
Curry – Tastes a little on the meatier side but no artificial and will order again.
Fried chicken – Half Japanese and Korean style; great fry and memorable sauce

We initially checked this place out since we happened to be nearby, but it left a very good impression on me. Their katsu curry was delicious and the service was great. The owner talked to us about how their house curry sauce is diligently made, and they were very attentive and friendly to us as well as the other customers.

The atmosphere was pleasant. Portions are good for the price, and the menu has nice variety. I can definitely see myself going to this place again to try out some of the other menu items I was interested in. The staff definitely seem to care about giving customers a pleasant dining experience.

I discovered Ino Japanese Bistro on a Facebook group and Instagram, and I’m so glad I decided to try it out!

The miso soup was a perfect way to start my meal, arriving hot. The gyoza was even better – the sauce had a unique kick that complemented the dumplings perfectly. The chicken katsu came with rice, pickled ginger, and their famous curry. The attentive staff recommended dipping the hot naan in the curry, and they were absolutely right – it was delicious!

The staff at Ino Japanese Bistro was fantastic. They checked in with me frequently throughout my meal and even shared some interesting facts about Ino’s history and their curry-making process. The ambiance at the restaurant was peaceful, with music playing at a low volume that allowed for easy conversation. The restaurant itself was clean and beautifully decorated. There’s plenty of free parking available, and it’s conveniently located near DART bus stops (240, 241, and 883) for those using public transportation.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Ino Japanese Bistro. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. It’s a perfect place to bring friends and family for a great dining experience.

The curry was delicious, what they added to it is a very nice touch.

The chicken is very juicy in both the curry and the karaage.

Miso soup is light in taste, and by no means lacking.

Oyakodon was very good too.

Atmosphere is very good too.

I haven’t been to Ino in years, but I used to go quite often for sushi and occasionally ramen and curry years ago. I came back to a very different menu experience: very simple, but that much better for it! Curry at Ino has always been good (I don’t like curry, but they now only have curry and ramen as entree types, no sushi), but they must have changed the recipe because it is SO MUCH BETTER than even before. The spicy chicken karage was fantastic as well. The pre-meal miso soup was a little salty for me, but fine as miso soup goes.

Definitely coming back to make even better memories!

06/23: menus have changed and I’m not sure about dinner but for lunch, they no longer have sushi combo platters or even chirashi. But I did have the katsu curry and it was delicious and the portion was large.

I went for lunch yesterday. It was my first time back since they changed management. I had the chirashi and the fish was fresh and I was glad to see they still give you the pickled cabbage and now pickled radish too. The menu offered variety of entrees. I will go back and try their curry next since I remember it being excellent last time I had it there before the change
