This is one of the best spots in the area! Great beer selection on tap. Food is decent, staff was on point. Eric was our bartender, he kept us laughing the whole time and recommended some good brew. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area. Cheers!

I have been here a few times. Today I had the chicken sandwich. It was amazing. I eat a lot so a good chicken sandwich is much appreciated. The staff is great and if you like sports its definitely a great place to watch the 49er’s. Thanks Devon for being an awesome bartender!

DO NOT EAT HERE.
My husband and I decided to eat here upon checking into the hotel. We ordered the “waygu” cheeseburger (it was definitely just ground beef,) to split, and asked for it well done. When we received our cheeseburger, it looked like it was cooked for a medium request, but we didn’t think twice about it because we were starving after driving all day to get here. About an hour later, we both started feeling nauseous and having stomach pain. Sure enough, you guessed it…we both ended up sick with food poisoning. After a few hours, I had enough strength to pull myself out of bed and walk to the restaurant to ask to speak with a manager. The first girl I talked to said “speak to the hotel front desk, I don’t know.” I then asked the guy behind the bar for a manager and explained to him what happened and asked if anybody else has gotten sick. He looked at me shocked and disgusted. He then questioned me like I was lying. He said “I don’t understand. The problem was with the kitchen?” I said “yes, I was here earlier today” (which he was aware of and so was the girl because they were one of the few who waited on us.) He said “well what did you order?” I told him we ordered a cheeseburger and he said “with fries?” At that point I was shocked that he felt the need to ask me if I had fries too. Did it really matter?! I was ready to throw up again just talking about the food and describing it to him. He said “my manager isn’t here, but hold on. I’ll be back in 10 minutes.” I couldn’t stand there for 10 more minutes, let alone 1 minute. I ran back to my room because I still felt nauseous. I was completely taken back that I was intensely questioned, but not once was I offered an apology or refund. Will never be returning to this restaurant.

Well. Lets talk. Food amazing. But very slow services. Not sure why. Well I got my personal opinions. I’m glad the good was great cuss that made up for it.

We stayed at the Beach Retreat and went to sidelines for breakfast. Our hostess/waiter was extremely helpful and friendly. The service was excellent and the $12 breakfast special (2 eggs, toast, bacon, potatoes) was tasty. The coffee was also better than expected! A great early morning option before skiing!

We sat down just at the breakfast and lunch menu was changing, no indication from the servers of how long it would take to get food. No waters, no cutlery and it took 56 minutes for the burgers to come out. The kitchen staff argued with me stating it was because we ordered medium burgers. I’d never eat here.

Worst breakfast experience at this place. I ordered crab cake and it felt like it was old and frozen. Also, I informed the waiter that I was pregnant and preferred fully cooked eggs. He brought my food out and the egg was not cooked. So I had to tell him that I cannot eat and he blamed the cook. So he took another 10 minutes to have my eggs cooked. And again the same story. How can you make the same mistake. I ended up not eating eggs at the restaurant because I didn’t think they were understanding simple English at this hotel restaurant. And the waiter ended up charging me full price even though both the times the eggs were not fully cooked and it was their mistake. And my husband country side gravy was horrible as well.
And we were there at 7am eating breakfast and people started coming later after we placed the order. But the service was slow. I don’t think we’ll dine at this place again.

Was here for a wedding and went to get some drinks before all of the ceremonies started. Unfortunately the morning bartender apparently didn’t leave the afternoon person stocked so there was a rather disorganized mess trying to order drinks. That being said the staff is friendly and seems to do their best. Will was very cool the two nights I was there. Not the best stocked bar I’ve been to but definitely not the worst either. Of course with a name like Sidelines there are plenty of TV’s to watch a game.

Stay away!! My son and I came in to order lunch To Go and right when we walked in the server said she would be right with us which was great. There were about 5 people dining but I could see she was the only server and working at a steady pace. I grabbed a newspaper and sat patiently at the bar. After about 10 minutes of the server ignoring me I kindly asked her if I could place an order To Go when I caught her eye a few feet away. She approached me and Instead of her saying “sure, what can I get for you?” She proceeded to tell me she was on her way to get my order and felt the need to explain that to me several times in a defensive manner. I thought that was unprofessional and inappropriate but I said “ok great” and after she took my order I apologized for bothering her (even though I knew she was out of line) and instead of her saying “no problem I apologize for being frustrated” she proceeded to tell me again that she was on her way over to ask me what we would like several times!! As if I did something wrong by requesting service in a polite manner. It was so strange! I was seriously being chastised by a server because I asked to place an order! She was clearly very frustrated and having a hard day and couldn’t handle 5 customers at once but didn’t know how to stay cool. It was seriously the most awkward experience with a server. We left and didn’t come back for the food.

I went there for the first time this evening. Fairly unimpressed with the service. The bartender was having a full-on panic attack because 2 people were ordering drinks 40 minutes prior to the closure of the bar. Ultimately, the bar closed 15 minutes prior to 10 pm (the advertised time of closure). I do understand when establishments close early secondary to slow business, however the patio was very much full of patrons and I was not the last to be greeted by a locked door while trying to grab a last call. Overall, not impressed. Highly unlikely I’ll try again.
