For an eatery in a supermarket food court, M Thai serves up very, very decent food.

When we were there, there was no one stationed at the front. It appears in-person orders are accepted primarily through the kiosk. The only other person that was there was the cook in the back, and when we flagged him down with some questions about the menu, his English was pretty limited.

That said, we were pretty happy with our order. We noticed a lot of happy reviews mentioned the char kway teow, and it’s just as good as others have found. The serving size is hearty, and each strand of flat noodle is well-seasoned. Our other was the crab fried rice. We’d never had it before and just ordered it out of sheer curiosity. On the plus side, it had a decent amount of actual crab meat, enough to see it and taste it in the entree. But it was on the blander side and seemed very plain when contrasted with the saucy char kway teow noodles.

On a whim, I also ordered a Thai iced coffee, which turned out to be a bit of a fail. There was no actual ice in the coffee (which quickly rendered it lukewarm while we were sitting and sipping), and the coffee somehow straddled both extremes of bitter and sweet – it was extremely sugary on the front and left a bitter taste on the back end.

While we wouldn’t go out of our way for a return trip, we were happy with our food, and even had enough to take home. I’d definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you’re in the area. Seating is in a modestly sized communal space, so it’s first come first served.

Great flavorful wok style food. Drunken noodles and a curry/noodles dish were delicious! Shocked at the other reviews that made rude comments. Employees are friendly, food is fresh and delicious, and quick turnaround.
And to those complaining about tip being pre-selected on kiosk: if you’re too cheap to tip a measly $2, just say that. You can easily unselect the tip option—it’s not mandatory.

Highly recommend drunken noodles!

Absolutely the best chicken pad Thai and chicken satay I’ve had in a loooooong while! Super affordable and quick service. I’m traveling for an event and was worried about what I would eat so far from home and this was honestly such an amazing treat!! ❤️

I was pleasantly surprised making a stop here today. I got the Drunken Noodle and I was blown away! The ho fun noodle was fresh, they didn’t skimp on the beef and the portions were decent. Most importantly, gotta give thanks to the chef for the love he put into the dish. I can taste the “wok hei” in the dish and this makes or breaks a dish. For those who don’t know, “wok hei” is a smoky flavor when the food is kissed by the flames when cooked in the wok. This was one of the best ho fun dishes I had in a long time! I will be back more often than I should

The food was awesome. The service was quick and the manager even helped me with my indecisiveness by answering questions . The seating is the common seating of the food court

Got the Char Kway Teow with shrimp. It had a really nice wok flavor to it. Really delicious but could have been more generous with the shrimp. Overall portion felt a little small for a $14 dish. The drunken noodle at Roots in Princeton has a very similar taste but the portion is like 3x bigger. I would come here again to try out other foods but just wish there was more value options.
Also some other reviewer made a snarky remark about this place not being authentic. When I was there, I think they were speaking Thai or Malay, definitely not Chinese. But no matter, the flavor is good and fresh.

What a wonderful surprise find for us. M Thai Gourmet
is tucked away in the entrance of the Asian Food Market. While the open seating is easy to access, I have purchased take-out from here a few times and have been happy. The curries are good. I have also enjoyed Tropical Mango a few times.
