The pizza here is excellent; it reminds me of authentic Italian. I love the quaint pizzeria look and experience. The owners are super friendly and very service oriented. Perfect for either dine-in or takeout. Very reasonably priced, especially given the high quality. Highly recommended!

If you have to chance to stop in Hannibal, or are driving nearby, you have to drop in and try Palermo’s Pizza & Subs! We sampled a variety of dishes and everything was delicious! If you are looking for great food at a great price, Palermo’s is the place for a non-frills dining experience. However, it has be said that the owners have been recognized for renovation a historic building and keeping the charm of Hannibal alive! Definitely try the Indian cuisine options too!

Good pizza with home-made crust. Great amount of toppings and good sauce. The service was good and friendly. We had the 5 topping and added black olives. The owner told us we could change any of the toppings though. Crust was delicious but a little thicker than I like. Next time I will ask for thinner crust.

The inside is clean and a restored building with the old tin ceiling panels which I love.

Food was just ok. Adults ordered stromboli and kids ordered spaghetti. Both dishes had very little flavor. Stromboli had 3 pieces of pepperoni and lots of onions and peppers. No smiles at all from owners. Atmosphere was cold and uninviting. Another table near us stated they did not enjoy their food and would not be back.
Don’t think we will be going back.

The Indian food was fabulous!!! Which we were worried about Indian food at a pizza place, but WOW!!!!! Chicken curry was soooo good. So much flavor, not too much spice. Highly recommend.

Don’t let the first impression of their building discourage you from trying this place. What they lack in atmosphere is made up in quality of food, and that’s what really matters anyway. We had pizza. Good, fresh ingredients and good crust. The cheese and sauce were great. I believe the man that took our order was the owner and his daughter was helping also. They were very friendly, helpful, and seemed to appreciate our business. Definitely give them a try the next time you’re in Hannibal.

Compare these photos to other photos of pizza on here. This crust isn’t it. It is overdone, too dark, and the flavor is off. Second time in a row. Crust is 50% of the product. You can’t fumble on this. This only happens when certain people are making it, let’s be honest. Our previous experiences used to be better. A business can’t afford to lose regulars. The owners need to get together and make sure product is consistent no matter who is making it. I’m noticing a pattern. We’ll be thinking twice before ordering here from now on and will consider other local places first.
