Found Heidi’s Bakery and Cafe while traveling on the back roads. The bakery items are phenomenal! I highly recommend the pig pickin cake and the carrot cake. You can also get something to eat or get a coffee. The young man working the counter was very kind, courteous and helpful. We will be back!

I recently ordered a cake for my boyfriend and I’s birthdays. We are one day apart : ) . I ordered a 3 layer 8” cake- chocolate and peanut butter icing. I have never had a cake this good in my entire 39 years. I didn’t even need the icing, but the icing was a delicious bonus! I have never said that about any other cake before! It was so moist- even the piece we have a week later is as moist as the day we picked it up. The flavor and crumb are amazing.
The service was great. The girl at the front counter was so sweet and kind and the cafe itself is set in a beautiful slice of countryside. We will definitely be back. A+++++++++++++

The place is off the beaten path, in the middle of nowhere, on a farm with petting animals, in the wild parts of West Maryland, the part that tries hard to be West Virginia. I was really surprised to find it quite crowded at lunch time on a Saturday.
Food was a typical american fare. It is what it is, depends on your preferences. For me salads are a safe bet.

AMAZING! We had farmers plate and croissant plate. Both good. Croissant was the softest I ever had. We got pumpkin roll and apple pie to go and I can’t stop eating them. Very glad with the breakfast experience!

All of the food is delicious and the service is great! The Chicken Teriyaki sandwich and the Turkey Reuben are my favorites! I go here often for myself and pick up large orders for work and there has never been a mistake.

Perfection! Randomly found this place and it was better than exactly what we were hoping for! Amazing breakfast food with fresh ingredients which we think are grown on-site. The porch is so lovely to sit on and take in the farm filled views. Inside is super cute and has a small bakery and shop selling all kinds of delicious homemade baked goods, jams, jellies, candles, scarves, eggs, frozen meat, frozen chicken pot pie, and so much more! The seasoned fries are delicious but the farmer’s breakfast and the omelette is where it’s at! Hash browns are soooo good and not the dry, thick chunks that I personally am not a fan of.
After our delicious meal, we walked around the grounds where they have chickens, roosters, bobwhite quail, donkeys (in the distance), and horses (in the distance). Their garden is beautiful completely with a wagon and benches. This place is such a great find and I wish I could go here every day.
