Went here on Sunday night. Food and service was superb. 1st visit having used castleview for many years. More room and also no steps stairs ! Was looked after fron start to finish, Naj in particular was excellent and could not have been more helpful. Will 100% be back

Fabulous restaurant which never disappoints. Am a regular at castle view and love both restaurants for different reasons.
The food is amazing with such great flavours and always served hot. The ambience is lovely with a great atmosphere.
The staff are so friendly, welcoming and efficient. Amin and Samanya are great hosts. Would recommend for sure.

Absolutely amazing experience and the food was so tasty with portions at the right level. So much choice and the atmosphere was perfect for a family meal of 2 adults and a 13 year old.

We had a fantastic meal at Cathedral View Indian. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Service was excellent throughout the evening — friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, making it a great place to enjoy a proper sit-down meal.
For four people we had 2 starters between each pair, 4 mains, 4 naan breads, 2 rice dishes, and 8 beers, all for £185, which felt very reasonable for the quality, quantity, and overall experience.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for great Indian food in Lincoln with top-notch service and a lovely setting. We’ll definitely be back!

Saturday night four of us 8:30 p.m.. was very good from start to finish. Service was professional and prompt without feeling rushed. Food and ambience was great. Superb amount of chicken in my chicken Naga, and very tasty too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this new restaurant.

We are regulars at Castleview so were excited when the Cathedral view sister restaurant opened. We left it a couple of weeks after the restaurant opening to book a table. We booked a table for two for tonight Friday 5th Dec and were shown to very cramped table almost sitting side by side. We werent happy so raised this with the waiter who asked us to wait 5 minutes whilst they prepared us a more suitable table. We were allocated a table close to the door and on a busy Friday night and the door opening regularly we were cold. So we asked to be moved again, whixh we were to a more suitable table. Half an hour after our booked table time we were invited to place a drinks order followed by our food order. The food was nice but not up to the usual castleview standards. The lamb was very chewy. At castleview it melts in your mouth. We were presented with the bill at the end and paid but were not asked how we found the food . We left disappointed and will not return to Cathedral view. We will go back to our usual Castleview, where i hope, will continue with their fantastic food and ambience.
