It was our first time going to claywood last night and we were pleasantly surprised, it was a cool and inviting atmosphere, very rustic but very clean and cozy. Our waitress Emily was very kind and attentive, we tried the scotch flight, which quite a journey and super fun! Never had a scotch smoother than the Balvenie Doublewood 12 year. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back 10/10

Excellent venue for a well prepared meal, and top flight service. Short rib pot pie was so elegantly prepared (loved the leeks in it). In-house freshly made pasta was absolutely delicious. Fantastic drink selection for all kinds (cocktails, beer/wine, NA selections, etc.). We sat outside, as we had our furry family member, but the inside was very well appointed. Absolutely beautiful bar as you walk in.

Passing through from Florida to Kentucky. Found this gem on an overnight stay in Hendersonville, NC. Had the Radicchio Salad, steamed clams in a broth of celery root, fennel and togarashi, and the dry aged beef tagliatelle. Lastly, the lemon curd cheesecake. All outstanding! Cohen did a marvelous job of guiding us through the menu and taking care of us. Highly recommend Claywood!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here after hearing it was the most recommended spot in town — and wow, it exceeded every expectation! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and seated by the kindest, most genuine server we’ve ever had (truly the best customer service experience of our lives- thanks Cowan!).
The food? Divine! We started with the bread and butter — hands down the best we’ve ever had — followed by the bolognese and the dry-aged ribeye, both absolute perfection. We couldn’t resist taking the chocolate cake to go, and even before tasting it, I couldn’t wait to write this review.
HenDo’s best dinner spot, without a doubt! Every detail made the evening feel special, memorable, and downright delicious. We’ll be dreaming about this meal for a long time!!

We love every experience here! We often sit at the bar where you don’t need reservations and where you can get the the full dining menu and have great conversation with the awesome bar staff. The food is exquisite and the drinks are stellar. The atmosphere here is also one of our favorites in all of the greater Hendersonville and Asheville area! Women owned.

We love this restaurant! Wonderful service, Warm and cozy atmosphere, great food! I have ordered the chicken and dumplings a couple times now from their winter menu and they were phenomenal! My fiancé recently had the dry aged beef burger, which he gave five stars. He also has tried the short rib pot pie, which was another five stars. They have lots of different wonderful cocktails. I ordered the Mrs. Claus this last time which was wonderful, but I also really enjoy all of their sangrias. We have been several times for their sangria specials on Saturday.

Spent my Wedding anniversary here. Truly some of the best fine dining service and food / cocktails I have ever had in an upscale resteraunt . I wouldn’t change a thing. The cocktails were beautiful crafted and tasted soooooo good. The food was to die for. Our server Holly was so kind and truly a beautiful soul. Thank you for a much needed night out. Will come back anytime we’re in town!! Pictured was their bolognese.

OMG! Our first experience was outstanding. Server was attentive and cordial. The Short Rib Pot Pie was an excellent entree. The mushroom Hand Pie was a tasty appetizer. No doubt this will be high on our recommended restaurants in Hendersonville.

The steak was cooked to an absolute perfection. The deep, rich sear on the outside created a beautifully crisp crust, while the inside remained tender and juicy. The dark, glossy sauce pooling around the steak adds an extra layer of decadence. The golden, crispy potatoes, finished with a sprinkle of fresh chives, make the perfect pairing. The steak was done at the highest level and at first we didn’t know how this restaurant would fair compared with other steak houses due to a smaller menu but I think this steak was as good if not better than Rick Erwin’s and just as good as the one I’ve had at Halls Chophouse. The seafood was also very good and the desert after nailed it. I wish they would’ve offered a charcuterie board to go with the great selections of wines and whiskeys but we’ll definitely be back for more!
