We stop by the Billy the Kid Museum and were told this was the best place for lunch. Absolutely the best recommendation. Staff were great and the steak fingers with country gravy were FANTASTIC! The house salad was full of fresh vegetables and was delicious. A must stop if you are in the area.

Can’t miss it as you’re coming to town small private owned grill very casual. Seating indoors and outdoors with umbrellas. We had fantastic hamburgers and deep-fried mushrooms. They also serve omelettes and a couple of Mexican dishes. The menu is written in chalk on the wall very easy to read, family friendly was amazing.

We arrived at 1115 and JUST beat the lunch rush! The restaurant was packed, and the food was AMAZING! I ordered the Billy the Kid with onion rings and ate everything! I would recommend anyone who wants a good burger to try this place out. The only thing I would recommend is not to let customers on the phone supersede the customer that was standing in front of you before the phone started ringing. We arrived at the counter, then the phone rang, and we’re told to please wait while she took the order of the customer on the phone. I believe great business sense and good customer service would make a visiting customer a higher priority over a customer calling in by phone. Otherwise, I’ll just go outside and call in my order to get good customer service!

I stopped by Rodeo Grill on my way to Santa Fe, and I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The meat was seasoned well, and the fries were cooked just right. Crispy and flavorful. The atmosphere is basic, but the food is work a return visit. 5/5!

Passing through Fort Sumner on our way to Red River and stopped at Rodeo Grill for lunch. We were warmly invited in and menu explained. The food came out quickly and the atmosphere was nice. Not too busy but had a steady flow of customers. The fried pickles (not pictured) had a great flavor and came with delicious homemade ranch. Kids had chicken strip meal and kid’s burger meal. Both were good portions for kids. I had the Billy the Kid Burger and husband had California Burger. Fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly.
