I honestly didn’t expect this place to be so good. When I first walked in, I even thought the restaurant might be closed — it was a bit dark inside, and there isn’t much direct light over the tables. But once we sat down, the atmosphere felt cozy, with white tablecloths and a really nice table setup.

You MUST try the potato soup — it was absolutely amazing and totally exceeded my expectations.

About the food:
The Greek salad was pretty standard, nothing special, but it was dressed well with olive oil. The steak was cooked perfectly, exactly the doneness I asked for — juicy and flavorful. The fish was also done right, not dry at all, just how it should be.

The service was excellent — several people helped us throughout the evening, and everyone was friendly and attentive.

And I almost forgot about the desserts! They bring them out and show them to you at the table, which is really nice. I tried the carrot cake and the tiramisu. The carrot cake was a bit too sweet for me, but the tiramisu was perfect — well-soaked, with creamy but not heavy filling.

Thank you for the great experience — I would definitely come back again.

Hosted my Bridal shower here and it was an amazing experience! My family raved about the food, especially the prime rib, for weeks after the shower. Planning was a breeze with Demetria. The room looked amazing I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We recently visited Rockafellers for our anniversary. The staff is very friendly and professional, the food was exquisite, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We ordered a new special that wasn’t on the menu, thanks to our waiter Tucker for his mention of it, and the owner came by to say hello and see how we liked it. We loved it and enjoyed every bite! We live an hour away and I found about Rockafellers from reviews, so I knew I needed to follow up with a great review! Thank you for a wonderful anniversary experience!

My partner and I visited with the intention of enjoying a full meal, including drinks and multiple courses.

Upon presenting a promotional appetizer certificate, we were informed by the manager that it could not be honored as it had expired two days prior. We sincerely apologized for our oversight regarding the exact expiration date, as we had mistakenly noted it as March 3rd. While we fully understand the importance of adherence to promotional terms and conditions, the inflexibility demonstrated in this particular instance, especially for an item of relatively small value like an appetizer and given such a short expiration lapse, was quite disappointing.

We had planned to order drinks, additional appetizers, and two full main courses. We believe that honoring the certificate, despite the minimal two-day expiration, would have transformed our experience into a significantly larger transaction for their business. Instead, we felt that a valuable for customer satisfaction and increased revenue was missed. We noted that the restaurant did not appear to be operating at full capacity at the time, suggesting that additional business would have been welcomed.

During our conversation, the manager expressed that other businesses would not typically accommodate such requests. Not true. However, based on our experiences, we have found that a degree of flexibility in similar situations often fosters strong customer loyalty and encourages repeat, larger orders. We have personally experienced situations where other establishments have graciously honored slightly expired promotions, which invariably led to our returning for substantial future patronage. We view such decisions as a testament to excellent customer service and sound business strategy.

Regrettably, this interaction left us with a less than favorable impression and has significantly impacted our likelihood of returning to the restaurant in the future.

I will say, Tucker was an amazing waiter and made up for the bad food. I enjoyed the service and atmosphere a lot. The food, however, was not impressive. At a price point of $55 for a seafood platter, I expected the food to be better quality. The seafood tasted as if it came from a bag and was air fried. I would only return for a drink and not the food.

Celebrated Valentine’s Day with my husband here and we were very disappointed with the service. To say the least we had come here for the first time a couple of years ago and service was great not to mention the food. However this time around the waitress we had looked frustrated and definitely was not welcoming. She did not offer us a dessert menu and took my drink before I could finish it. Maybe she was having a bad night but given that she is a waitress and work on tips you may want to at least pretend. Note to self, if you plan to come on a busy night make sure Lakin is not your server. For the price we paid this night wecould have ended on a better note.

Came here for my dad’s birthday and I’m kind of disappointed. Honestly we all were. I looked at the reviews before coming here and heard about 50/50 of it being really good and really bad. All the dishes were priced way too high for some low quality dishes. The Rockefeller oysters were good, hence the name in the title of the restaurant. The tomato bisque was good, but just a tad too sweet. Everyone else’s meal was good except when my dad ordered the porterhouse steak which was $68 and definitely not worth $68. The first time he ordered it, we said medium rare. The waiter brought it to us the first time and it was completely well done. Then we sent it back and he brought it out again and it was still well done so then they had to send it back. Then for the third time, they finally brought it out to the correct way. but my dad said that it was probably one of the worst porterhouse steaks he’s ever had. Their au gratin potatoes were good, and the mushroom side was a little salty. Overall, I just wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re looking for a good steakhouse. Maybe their oysters are good but everything else not so much. I think they need to lower the price for the quality of the food. One more thing, at the end of the menu it says no sharing or else they will charge you $8 dollars which I thought was ridiculous.

So I came back from New Orleans with Rockefeller oysters on my mind. I decided to try this place with my son. We ordered the Greek salad, Rockefeller oysters, the Rockefeller platter, with Oscar topping, and a kids’ meal with chicken tenders and fries. My server was Mike, and he was very pleasant. However, the food was subpar. I wasn’t impressed at all. I left half of the food there. The stuffed mushrooms on the platter were disgusting. Nothing was stuffed about them. It was melted cheese on top of sausage that looks raw. The buchetti on the platter was bread overloaded with tomatoes, I think the idea of filet sliders should end. I got rid of the bread immediately. I was extremely disappointed and displeased with having my birthday meal there. No one asked if we were celebrating a special occasion or even if we wanted dessert. I wasted money and time. If the manager reads this, may I contact you so that I could at least get a salad and oysters to make me feel more at ease of blowing money on nothing. I would greatly appreciate it .

I placed a takeout order on Door Dash and ordered the fettucine alfredo with shrimp, 10oz filet with parmesan crust and the calamari appetizer. The total came to $148. The fettucine had no flavor, it was just all cream and for $21 extra, I got 4 shrimps – 4! The calamari also did not come with any lemons or cocktail sauce which left it also bland in flavor. The main compliant that I had was the filet as it was burnt on top and dry and it was cooked medium well vs. medium. I called the restaurant to advise I was not happy with the filet and was advised to text pictures of the filet to a phone number that was provided and that someone would call me. I did so and waited…..nothing. I texted twice as a follow up but all I heard was crickets. Thanks for nothing, Rockefellers.
