I came here a total of three times. If I would have wrote a review the first day I came I would have gave Laffair 5 stars. That day I bought a red velvet cake and a bunch of cookies. Everything that day tasted so fresh and so delicious! The red velvet cake slice was amazing! My husband loved all his cookies too! We loved the bakery so much we came back a few days later unfortunately that day it wasn’t nearly as good except for the cookies. I bought a carrot cake slice, a cheesecake/brownie slice and various cookies. The carrot cake slice wasn’t that great and tasted a few days old. The brownie part to the cheesecake slice was very good, but the cheesecake on top wasn’t that great. We did enjoy the cookies. We came back for a third time on Monday Jan 26, 2026 and I purchased a brownie that tasted a month old at least! It was hard as a brick! Needless to say I didn’t eat it! I also bought a chocolate mousse cake slice that was extremely fresh and good. As usual the cookies we purchased were all fresh and very good. All in all this bakery is a mixed bag you don’t know if you’re going to get something fresh or stale. Everything is either hit or miss. I’d come back again and give it another shot, but I wouldn’t come often.

I recently visited this charming little bakery for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a small, quiet spot , not a sit-in bakery , but perfect for picking up delicious treats like cookies, cakes, and more.
The service was quick, and the staff was incredibly kind and patient. I ordered a strawberry cake with strawberry filling, and it was absolutely fantastic! My cousin, whose birthday we were celebrating, loved it just as much as I did.
I would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone looking for great desserts and excellent service. I’ll be coming back for sure!

I am impressed by their customer service. The salesperson who helped me pick a graduation cake was very helpful and polite. The graduation cake was a hit. Everyone loved the cake and the way it was made. They made the cake as we asked for. Also, we ordered cupcakes and the kids loved them

I purchased several small cakes to share with a friend, and I was shocked to find that some of them were molded. Additionally, the cream filling had a terrible taste, which unfortunately caused everyone who consumed them to become sick.
I visited the store to report this incident and request a refund, but I found the staff to be unhelpful and my request for a refund was refused. This experience was not only upsetting due to the quality of the product, but it also caused me significant embarrassment in front of my friends.
I would not recommend your establishment to anyone after this experience. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these issues promptly.

Been getting rye bread for everything family gathering / holiday from this bakery (and their previous location) for literally decades. Grandpa used to. Then my mom would always get it. Now it’s my responsibility. It’s the absolute best and a staple on our family table. Would recommend calling ahead or going in to reserve because they sell out for some holidays.
