We’ve walked past The Alley so many times while visiting the Betsy Hotel area, but this was our first time finally stopping in and we’re glad we did.
The pizza is the clear standout. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza, which comes in one size only (16”), and it was delicious. Thin crust, nicely cooked, and full of flavour. If you’re deciding what to order here, I’d absolutely recommend focusing on the pizza.
We also tried two salads: The Italian Job and the Arugula, Fennel & Avocado salad. Both were fine, but compared to the pizza, they were more on the mediocre side. Next time, I’d skip the salads and stick with pizza.
The indoor dining space is super cute and cozy, tucked right into the alley off Collins Avenue. The warm wood slat walls, striped banquette seating, and woven pendant lights give the space a stylish, intimate feel, modern but relaxed. There’s also alley-side outdoor seating, which adds to the charm and makes it feel like a hidden South Beach spot.
Overall, a great place to stop if you’re craving good thin-crust pizza in a fun, tucked-away setting. We’ll definitely be back for the pizza.

This is easily one of my favorite pizzas in the city and I can sometimes be a pizza snob lol Amy the food and beverage manager is the sweetest, Daniel was an amazing server too! Gabriel the bartender very welcoming as well! Will and Taymi great as well! Don’t think twice just try it for yourself.

This aptly named pizza joint is located in the alley of The Betsy Hotel. It boasts a simple, effective menu of Italian classics. The pizza is freshly-baked to perfection in an open kitchen at the back of a the restaurant. The arugula, fennel, and avocado salad was exactly as described with a refreshing vinaigrette. Our table ordered the White Pizza with prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella per the recommendation of our server and it was an absolute hit. It’s not pictured because of how quickly it was devoured! We also got a red pizza with pepperoni that was elevate by the olive oil finish. Make sure to you get the hot honey for a sweet spicy twist! Our only disappointment was that they were out of the calamari and the banamisu due to their popularity. This just means we’ll have to try them on our next visit!

Some of the best pizza you can find in Miami Beach. We got the Italian Job salad, red pizza with onion and sausage, and banana-misu for dessert. Would come back and get the same order over and over again. The blood orange margarita was also a treat. Got an order of skinny margs and wouldn’t get those again, the lime felt a little off. Decor and lighting are top notch. Location is terrific. So thrilled to have this gem open again in Miami Beach.

Stopped in spontaneously on Valentine’s Day after reservations fell through elsewhere. Despite the crowd we were seated quickly and attended to quickly and often. Enjoyed the arugula avocado salad and a red pizza with arugula, onions, garlic and prosciutto. It was fantastic with a crispy crust and great sauce. Also really enjoyed the blood orange Margarita and CARAJILLO. Followed up dinner with soft serve at the outdoor window. All together fantastic experience and would go back

It’s back! A Covid-victim returns after much too long a break. It’s The Alley, the Betsy Hotel’s wonderfully casual pizza and more store. It’s a cozy nook tucked into the alley between Collins Ave and Ocean Drive that offers great people-watching at the same time. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate. The service is personal and great; Nicholas was our server who had great recommendations. I started with the Italian mojito, not overly sweet. My husband has the carajillo which I could have drunk all night. We shared the calamari friti and the arugula, fennel, avocado salad. The calamari came out piping hot and super crispy. I did want more of the delicate fennel on the salad. We also shared a white pizza topped with the mushrooms and onions recommended by our server. The crispy crust was perfect. And we saved room for the dessert. My husband especially enjoyed the banana-misu (too creamy for me). The simple vanilla ice cream with candied orange was best for me. Welcome back!

This is a cozy, charming pizzeria on the way to or from the beach. Sitting on an 15th Street adjacent alley connecting Collins with Ocean, it’s an adjunct to, and operated by the Betsy Hotel. Pizza is good, Roman style, thin and crunchy. Cold cut appetizers very savory and generous. Service courteous and attentive. Overall, very good experience. Got four stars (rather than five) because of the compulsory 20% service charge which, in addition to other taxes and MB surcharges, makes for an expensive meal.

I ask for the salumi y formaggi, and was sooo good, the roasted hazelnut w truffle honey was my fav part plus the bread and all the fresh cheeses, as a cocktail I ordered the ‘adriatique’ and as a dessert I tried the banana-misu which I highly recommend. All the staff was so nice, Gabriel and Tammy give us a perfect service, I’ll be back to try the pizzas for sure cause they look huge and tasty!!

The food here was amazing—we thoroughly enjoyed both the pizza and the charcuterie board. The cheese plate felt fairly priced and a good value. Service was friendly, quick, and very attentive. The food tasted authentically Italian, just like they advertise as a Roman pizzeria. We sat outside, which was great for people-watching without feeling crowded, and it’s pet-friendly, too. Overall, great prices for Miami, especially for a specialty pizza place.

Outstanding experience at Alley Pizza. The food was excellent, with great flavors and quality across the board. What truly made the visit special, though, was the service. Our waiters, Nicolás and Daniel from Argentina, were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their professionalism and positive energy elevated the entire experience. Highly recommend Alley Pizza, and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Nicolás and Daniel, you’re in great hands.
