All I can say is THIS PLACE DID NOT DISAPPOINT !! The mozzarella sticks are SO good. I have never had such a good mozerella stick! Then we had saganaki!!! Omg!! Who would have thought that a sports bar had such amazing food!!!! For my main, I ordered the Greek chicken and a pita and holy cow! Absolutely delicious and the service was just as good! The servers were very attentive!

Today I got the all you can eat fish fry. The price I was charged was $19.50 whereas the price on the website is $18.50. I was then charged for extra tartar sauce for the AYCE fish fry despite it coming w/ an additional tartar sauce w/ each order I placed. I asked the waitress about it and she just said yea, sorry. Had I known (and had she told me) they would have charged extra for the tartar sauce I would have just waited until my next order came which comes w/ more tartar sauce. This 2 tablespoons of tartar sauce set me back 95 cents to boot! I had mentioned to her that I would have appreciated had she let me know that there was an extra charge. She was apologetic but then snipped back with “well technically you are supposed to buy a drink too”. I could have (and would have) put one of the tables many drinks on my tab but after that comment I was done. Being penny wise and pound foolish only loses you customers. You lost a customer today over a 95 cent tartar sauce. Aside from that, our server was pleasant.
The fish itself was “inconsistent at best”. On my first order, the first piece was great, the next two were chewy and rubbery. The second order was much of the same, 1 good and one rubbery. Tater tots were great.

Great bar. Good drinks. Pool table and nice dart boards. Servers were great. The food was amazing. Got the “all you can eat” fish w Mac and cheese. Holy hell the fish was fresh and hot. The Mac and cheese came with love. They got it right!!!!! And I failed to mention that the kitchen closes at 11pm. And I got there at 9pm. Coming back for sure

We have been back many times since our first visit! Love First Place! Nick, Angie and Brook (bartenders) are the best! Food is great (get the mac & cheese)! This is now our number one place! (Or should I say, our First Place!)

Absolutely horrible. Went there this past Monday and it took her almost 20 minutes to come back and take the order. Then another 25 minutes to get food. Only ordered a BLT and fries. Never once got a refill. I was sipping on ice cubes and then to make things even worse with a group of old people sitting next to us that just kept staring. horrible place definitely will not be coming back. The service absolutely sucked and the sever should be fired! Straight dog water

We tried this for the first time and were little disappointed. First glimpse of the the inside gives that hometown feel. Their menu was solid, especially with what I thought were good deals.Our server was top notch but when in came to some of the food it was disappointing.
We started with fried pickles and Mozzarella sticks which were top notch. After having fire apps we figured their main course would be just as good. Well my wife ordered a wrap which they forgot all the toppings inside. The server made that right so nothing further there. Then we had the pub burger which was a frozen patty, probably hands down worst burger. It ain’t hard to buy ground beef and make a decent burger. It got worse we ordered the loaded fries which was burnt shredded cheese with crumbled bacon. There was no scallions, no sour cream, no cheese sauce which was a huge disappointment because their fries were awesome. We are up for coming here again for some apps and drink specials. Maybe we just came on a bad day.

The food is meh, it’s a bar! But the beer is cheap, there is pool, and it’s open late (3AM!!) everyday!

Second time I went there for food. Neither time was satisfactory. This time, I ordered the tacos. Ground beef was really dry, the meat, lettuce, cheese, tomato was so sparse it didn’t come close to filling the shell. I asked for extra hot sauce, I got no hot sauce. Go there to drink, don’t go there for take-out.

What a lovely refreshing place to be in after being in the many many dive bars around the area. This place really earns its name as 1st Place delivers a wonderful atmosphere complimented by its amazingly friendly staff who are clearly trained professionals. I would highly recommend dodging the other shady places within spitting distance and making your way to this extremely clean establishment that deserves a rank up from wherever it is currently. 5* all the way. My new go-to spot for any occasion!
