We stopped at 54 Cafe for breakfast while driving to Kansas City from Bentonville, based on a recommendation from a nearby convenience store, and it did not disappoint! I had French toast with a side of an over-easy egg and hash browns with onions and peppers. Everything was cooked perfectly—the French toast was flavorful, the egg was just right, and the hash browns had a great balance of crispiness and seasoning. The staff was incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot along the way, this place is definitely worth a stop!

You sit yourselves. There are lots of tables. We were hoping for a booth but most of the booths were taken.
Service was quick.
The price was reasonable.
The food was decent. I love the pancakes! Our friends loved their special- Biscuits, sausage or bacon, and gravy. They attest it was delicious .
The staff was nice.
You pay at the register.

54 cafe. Big place, lots of seating, nice bathroom. Water had a bad taste to it.
Meal took a while to get, they were busy on a Friday morning.
Stopped for breakfast while on a road trip.
Really good ham, good portion of hashbrowns, sausage gravy was good, pancakes a little tough, homemade biscuits were very good. Service was average to a bit above average.

Love the place. First time here. I ordered the chef salad. Came out wonderful, everything fresh, and the perfect temp. I hate really cold salads. My husband ordered a chili dog and full order of curly fries. Chili dog was wonderful and the curly fries was a full basket! They do have a half. He will know better next time. Great waitstaff. Our waitress went in break and another one stopped by to make sure we didn’t need anything. Our waitress had already made sure everything was taken care if before she went in her break.

I actually just use this as a point to stop and rest along my trip. They were not open when I was there so I don’t really know how to rate them. However, the convenience of the location was very nice when I could barely keep my eyes open and needed to shut my eyes for a few minutes before traveling onward.

Second time eating here. Food has been great both times! Cheeseburger and fries first trip and it was great, today had bacon&cheese omelette and French Toast and it was sooo good! Highly recommend for a family style restaurant! A+ Plus if you pay with cash, you get a discount!

Small menu, but the food is pretty good. Service took a while. Our waitress never even got us refills or checked on us. The only person who did was a different gal who brought us our food. Needs some updating to floors, tables, etc. Not dirty, but kind of rundown. Not horrible, but could be improved.
