Absolutely love this place. Been twice during my stay and will probably go again. They have delicious curries, soups and other dishes, both vegan and meat. They also have tasty smoothies and teas, and other treats like cookies and brownies. The place is decorated really nicely, it’s light but cosy at the same time. Would definitely recommend a visit!

I am giving only good review for Ambience And Service, but as an India. The food wasn’t Indian though ( Nobody puts Broccoli in Biryani). The taste was more like a Fusion thing, which I honestly didn’t like.

Though i recommend to try other items, the service is really good and the ambience too.

I went to it to drink tea and get a sweet. As soon as you get into the restaurant, spices hit you and really invite you to try a dish. The place is peaceful and very cozy, and the spell of food takes you to a Hindu vibe. If you are a tea lover as me, this will be a paradise ot you because their tea menu is vast.

Yummy and nice setting. Got eggplant korma that came with rice, Naan, and a variety of sauces. No, it’s not super cheap, but if I wanted that, I wouldn’t have gone to a main pedestrian area or ordered exotica/non-native food.

AVOID! BAD FOOD !
TOO PRICY!
The food was terrible. Shrimp biryani completely filled with half cooked vegetables. Mushroom was filled with garam masala! And the NAAN… simply bad! Not close to any Naan in India. Hope the restaurant gets better on food otherwise please AVOID it.

I recommend the butter chicken! I don’t recommend the korma so much because it doesn’t taste like korma, tastes like a nice broth. Service was slow, but there was only just one waitress for the whole place . The little sauces that come with the food are absolutely delicious!!! I think they really make the place. Samosas were yum according to the husband. They have GF, meat, vegan and vegetarian options.

Overall it was really nice. The atmosphere and the building were awesome, it has a beautiful courtyard. The cocktails were good and the samosas were excellent! The pork vindaloo was great but the palak paneer was not that good. I would go back and try some more.

We really enjoyed the mixed samosas- great flavor, and the four accompanying salsas/dips/chutney were tasty, too. The butter chicken was served with rice and naan; the serving size was more than sufficient to two to share. There are two menus (Indian and French-ish, Oui Oui) and we selected the creme brulee for dessert, which was truly wonderful.

It’s an attractive space inside and there’s a patio as well for open air dining on pleasant days. Service was attentive. We will definitely return although it may be hard to decide between the Indian dishes and the interesting Oui Oui offerings.

On our 2nd visit this stay we tried the cerdo vindaloo. The sauce was very flavorful (although not spicy; one can add the hot chile oil that comes with the 4 assorted samosas) and the pork chunks tender. The saffron rice is sufficient and the naan has a good flavor. We really appreciate the interesting background world music played at a comfortable volume, in marked contrast to so many restaurants in San Cristóbal.

Today was chilly and cloudy enough that there was a wood fire in the stove; great to hear it crackling!

The creme brulee is a treat- crispy crackled sugar crust and creamy deliciousness under it. Good sized portions, for food and beverages (chai and capuchino).

The service is very efficient and engaging. I can identify no need for improvement, only appreciation for a restaurant done right. The French food is still waiting…

I only had naan and kombucha but it was amazing! I’ve been recovering from a nasty bout of food poisoning so had been searching for somewhere with kombucha and something bread like to eat, the naan was perfect and came with some delicious dips which I couldn’t resist trying. (Even though definately not plain enough for my stomach right now!) Based off these flavours I would definately come for a full meal.

Amazing Indian food, for $95 you can get the “menu del día” which includes everything you see on the picture.

There’s great WiFi and the staff is super friendly.

If you’re by the Iglesia de Guadalupe and looking for a big, cheap and good lunch, this is the place to go.
