We were in town for an event, so we wanted to find a place that wasnt part of a chain to avoid the put of town crowd. It was around 2 o’clock, and while nearly every table and booth were full, we were able to seat ourselves, and we received prompt and friendly attention from the staff. Our food arrived within reasonable time, and we continued to receieve attention and refills without waiting. The food was good (wings, fried cod and fries, mozza sticks), and the atmosphere pleasant and relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting, and would return for a meal if the opportunity presented itself.

I dont think I’d order the same food, so that’s one reason I didnt give everything 5 stars. We also noted that both the men’s and women’s restrooms could use a little upkeep (stall door wouldn’t lock, had to lift with my foot, and it swung both in and out).

Wings a little pricey its either 10 or 20 no in-between, I got the Cajun dry rub but couldn’t taste any flavor. The chicken itself was very good though. Fries were good and seasoned but, you have to add them making a 15.00 wing meal now 18.00. I wouldn’t recommend the buffalo fries, they were limp and lacked flavor also an add on to her burger meal. My wife ended up eating mine and not hers. She liked her jacked burger so she would recommend that. We did get the cheese balls which were basically cheese curds but, we very good. Lastly, our server was extremely nice and welcoming. I forgot her name but she was very pleasant so we left her a good tip.

First visit here for a quick family dinner. Classic bar scene with TVs and old booths along with tables. We had a combination of foods to include pulled pork, burger and smothered chicken. Very friendly service and attentive server. May not check the box as a high-end gourmet restaurant, but I found the food very well presented and tasteful. Would definitely stop here again on my way through Grand Island.

Great find for out of towers.
Good selection of offerings on the menu. Food was out in short time. Tasty to say the least.

Good food in a cool speakeasy vibe downtown location. We stopped in while traveling through Nebraska, looking for a good non-chain dinner.

Service was prompt and attentive. Very quick on the refills.

The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. Good BBQ sauce, not too sweet or overpowering. Good balance. My son and I inhaled these.

The BBQ beans were excellent, sweet with pulled pork in them. Definitely worth getting.

I also had the hashbrown casserole. It was a bit mushy, cheesy. My wife didn’t like it, I thought it was fine. It reminded me of a potluck side dish. Dunno if this is a Nebraska thing, but I thought it was worth the try.

The onion rings were great. Nothing unique, but well cooked, hot and tasty.

The pulled pork sandwich was a bit overcooked. Softer than we prefer. I’d try something different next time.

They had what looked like a good selection of microbrews. I tried the homemade root beer. It was good, and free refills – bonus!

Would I recommend? Absolutely.

The most average food possible… everything was frozen. Buffalo shrimp that was still cold in the middle, only ate one and the waitress picked it up and never asked if something was wrong with it. I told her and still got charged. Place is garbage go somewhere else!!!

Food was good, we had 9 in our group so gratuity (18%) was added to our bill, However they taxed the gratuity which is not right at all. I wish I took a picture of the receipt but we were all shocked that gratuity was added before the tax.

I’m from Arizona but I used to live in the Midwest. The ribs and ribeye are excellent. Fall off the bone, cooked perfectly. We had a great citrusy IPA. Prices are so much better than back home. I normally don’t order steaks in the Southwest. They’re just not that good. I can cook my own better. But this place is great.

Great people, great service, great food. This is what I miss about the Midwest. I only wish they would allow dogs. Had to leave her in the motel.
