The New York skyline glittered like a spilled box of diamonds, stretching endlessly around us as we celebrated my partner’s birthday at Bar Blondeau. Perched high above the city, the rooftop bar felt like our own private oasis. The air was warm and vibrant, filled with a soft hum of conversation and the clinking of glasses.
We settled into plush seats, the city lights twinkling below, and ordered our first round of amazing cocktails. Mine was a smoky concoction with a hint of citrus, while yours was a vibrant, fruity delight. Each sip was perfection, a burst of flavor that complemented the breathtaking views. We talked and laughed, the energy of New York seeming to infuse our conversation. It was a truly perfect night, a beautiful memory etched against the backdrop of an unforgettable cityscape.

Y’all this place is really cute. I’d describe the ambiance as romantic city vibes b/c the view is everything! All the food was delicious. The servers were attentive, music was at a low level for intimate conversations, & there was a variety of seating options with different views.

We came here for birthday drinks before heading downstairs to Le Crocodile for dinner. We’ve lived in the neighborhood for many years but had never stop by. What a mistake! We absolutely loved this spot. Drinks are pricey but they come with a great snack place. We’re already planning our next visit. Great views and service.

I went here Saturday and Sunday evening to celebrate Valentine’s Day and and an anniversary. A very romantic vibe. The views and lounge ambiance is amazing. The food was very good. One of the best ceaser salads that I have ever had. We also got the octopus and steak which were very good.
On Sunday though, our first waiter was amazing, such a nice guy with an awesome vibe We moved spots and had new staff. My partner is very affectionate and we were sitting ver close (she was in my arm) and and at some points would kiss one another (never inappropriately). Throughout the entire experience in the new section the wait staff seemed to be talking to other staff and even other customers about us. To the point where I felt really uncomfortable. I didn’t know what the issue was I thought they might be making fun of the age gap between us and obviously that made me feel not to great. When we left the waitress made an underhanded comment about our anniversary. While we were walking out, one of the parties at a table (one of the ones that that the wait staff was gossiping with) gave my girlfriend the nastiest disgusted look. I started at him for a couple of seconds to make sure he knew that I was aware. The woman at the table also gave us a nasty look. I asked my partner several times what was going on. She didn’t know at the time. We got on the elevator to go downstairs and the group of people were also giving us really weird vibes. My girlfriend finally suggested that the issues was that were being affectionate. Im still blown away that this was an issue in this romantic environment and I’m also blown away at the fact that wait staff made the situation worse by gossiping to the staff and other customers. It was the most uncomfortable situation. I spent around $500 here this weekend and came back because the place was perfectly romantic. But then when in a romantic environment on romantic occasions to be intentionally belittled and made fun of in such an obvious way is so unprofessional.

Made a reservation for a group of 5 on a Saturday and had an amazing experience. Jackson was knowledgeable about all the drinks, made excellent recommendations, and incredibly gracious. The soft lighting combined with the overview of manhattan makes a wonderful backdrop to catching up with friends.
I highly recommend the deep cut and first love. The mezcal drinks were all well balanced, smoky and delightful.
Finally we ordered the creme brulee and it was a decadent buttery creme with a smoky but not overpowering smoky sugar topcoat.
I look forward to my next visit with anticipation

The cocktails, in my opinion, are underwhelming, lacking creativity and uniqueness, so they’re not the highlight here. However, the food surprisingly stands out. The small plates are worth trying, especially the smoked salmon toast, chicken toast, and burrata. The steak, though, is just average.
There’s a Happy Hour during weekdays, but it’s only available at the bar seats.

What a fantastic place! Went for impromptu drinks with friends and had a wonderful experience.
Niamh was our server and she was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu when asked about what to order. Great drinks and food – you have to try the Zephyr and Winter Squash Tempura with green tahini.

Had such an incredible Sunday with Bar Blondeau’s teatime experience. They had a great selection of bites, the scones were delicious, and the selected tea pairing worked just perfectly.
Other than the food I highly recommend trying their speciality cocktails and morning bubbles, my personal favorite was infused with orange blossom.
The view is also beautiful overlooking the skyline, overall experience 10/10

The space is cute and the view is really nice. Good spot for a date. Cocktails and food were good but nothing amazing, we got a bunch of small shareable things. Really didn’t like our waitress, she was kind of standoff-ish and not friendly, but then we had another guy come over who started taking our order later in the night and he was great. I’d go again for the views and vibe.
