I’m so happy to have a place nearby that serves great Korean food! The dishes are flavorful and satisfying, exactly what I was hoping for. I also tried the sushi, and it was fresh and very filling.
The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of parking available. I didn’t have to wait at all, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a solid spot for both Korean cuisine and sushi lovers. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a great experience at Kiku, and here is why. I like the size of the location where it feels more personable than other larger hibachi restaurants. The staff was extremely nice and the location was very clean. The hibachi chef was good and had a great personality while cooking and making the experience fun. What really topped it all of was the food. The soup was Ok however the salad dressing was fantastic and fresh. What I like is the entree portions are large where you receive both lime in and rice with your meal and lots of it. I ordered the filet mignon with chicken hibachi combo ($38) which was cooked perfectly. This is a BYOB establishment which is also a plus. Overall, a great experience and will certainly be back.

Let me preface this by saying I never write reviews or complain about food in general, but this was so so bad it has to be recorded.
In all my years I’ve never seen a performance as bad as this Hibachi chef. They were training a new hibachi chef, but didn’t inform any of the paying customers, or even offer a discount.
The chef did not put soy sauce on either the noodles or rice, and even put yum yum sauce on the rice while cooking. When I showed the plate to the manager, he countered with a 10% discount.. and two free plates of noodles for EIGHT people.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, the chef served freezing cold steak as “med/rare). The only food that was good was
If you want to have hibachi do not go to this establishment as they train their staff at the expense of the customer and cannot even give a refund for the terrible food. The old management at Kiku would have never let this fly.
Not a single person finished their plates at the table, and the food at other tables looked 10 times better, but they refused to give a refund for the food. I would suggest any other Hibachi establishment as this place is already overpriced as is.

If you’re looking for a fantastic sushi and hibachi experience, look no further than Kiku Sushi. The sushi is some of the freshest and most delicious I’ve ever tasted. The fish is expertly prepared and beautifully presented, with a wide range of options to satisfy any sushi lover. The sashimi is particularly noteworthy, with each piece melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of flavor. Last but not least, the service is impeccable. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a fantastic dining experience.

So underrated are you kidding! We’ve been to benihana, arirang and a few other hibachis and felt we never had a good good hibachi here until now. First we were skeptical to eat here because of the reviews, but the Indonesian chef was honestly amazing, everyone was so kind and food was 10/10!! Best hibachi in NJ. No complaints, and they also have yum yum sauce. I’ve been trying to find a place with yum yum sauce. Thank you!!

Ordered for take out. Good flavor, dry on the rice on sushi roll and hibachi rice was hard. Other than that, yaki soba is good, shrimps were great, sauces are nice, and hibachi noodles were amazing.

Food is okay. Littlr dry for sushi rolls. Fried meal is delicious and yaki soba cooked perfect. Anyway less salty might be better. Service is excellent.

Make sure to double check what you ordered and that the bill is correct. First time here and I ordered sashimi. The best, freshest, tastiest sashimi I’ve ever had! Nice portion sizes too! Very reasonably priced for the A+ quality you are getting. Food was very presentable and everything came with the order that was supposed to.
(Chop sticks, napkin, soy sauce)
I will definitely be back very soon and I will not go anywhere else but Kiku going forward. I ordered take out, but the atmosphere inside was pleasant as well. Only thing is you need to check your order because they tend to add extra items to increase the bill.. Not sure if its purposely or not but they’ve done it to me twice now even after I asked to repeat the order. Even when at the restaurant I asked to repeat the order and they still ended up getting it wrong and adding extra items to increase bill. They’ve done this multiple times to increase bill to around $21 for some reason. Uodate: It seems they have a new sushi maker. Not the same quantity and quality.

This as our first time and the last time we will eat here. My husband and I both ordered steak hibachi dinners and we both asked for medium rare and it was medium. Well it was a takeout order and there’s no place to put online not to include certain foods. I’m allergic to seafood and it had shrimps in it Which was not mentioned in the meal details. The salad was great. Ginger dressing is good. The rice is nothing like hibachi rice. Needless to say it was a waste of $80 on Mother’s Day.
