The mac ’n’ cheese was just as impressive. Made with conchiglie pasta, the shell shapes captured the melted cheese in every curve and crevice, delivering a rich, satisfying bite each time.
Great beer selection, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff rounded out the experience beautifully. A truly memorable meal from start to finish.
Laid back atmosphere with tasty food. BBQ basics that are well executed. I love the meats, which were great, but the sides are the real test for me. I had a really good corn pudding and banana pudding. All around great food that speaks well for the rest of the menu.
Indoor and outdoor seating gives a relaxed, homey setting. Nothing fancy, but it’s totally appropriate for the style they’re going for.
Turns out that bbq lamb and pomegranate glazed pork belly are actually divine experiences..
I ended up only able to eat about half of this and am very much looking forward to eating the rest later tonight~
Also the entire staff are so nice and helpful ❤️ lamb was a recommendation and very glad I tried it~
The hype about this place is real. Great job, Outsider!
The warning is fair that parking will take some planning; you’ve been warned, it’s worth the effort.
Update: made it back to get some of that brisket after reading more reviews… oh my YUM. Brisket has the KC BBQ stamp of approval. Can re-confirm that the yellow BBQ sauce slaps and is super yum with the brisket. Still not super big on the sides here… tried the corn casserole this time (was better than the prior two I tried); hoping to try the kale Caesar salad next.
5 stars – brisket, yellow BBQ sauce, pickles
4.5 stars – jalapeño cheese sausage
3 stars – sides
Also pro tip if you order direct from their website, you can get partial pounds of meat for delivery and pickup unlike DoorDash, uber eats, etc. that require the full pound.

Highlights for me are the Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage (very yummy) and yellow BBQ sauce (would slap so hard on some pulled pork). Pickle assortment with meat was also very yum (some standard pickles, onions and jalapeños. Sides were both ok but not standouts for me. Mac&Cheese was not where I prefer texturally, Potato Salad was definitely an original interpretation (appreciated the fresh herbs and spices) but would have preferred a tad more salt and cook on potatoes. Excited to order again and try the other BBQ meats.
You can tell that Onur really loves and cares about what he is doing, and his staff reflect his love and care in every step of it. Everyone we interacted with were friendly and helpful, and every dish is fantastic. Get the sides. You think the BBQ is amazing, the sides are keeping pace. I love the lemon poppy slaw best of all, my partner the “street corn”.
Do not restrict yourself to one thing. Get a sample of many. The brisket particularly blows my mind. It is so richly flavored, and the smoking process makes it melty like a pizza stretch test.
I am not a sportsball or country music fan, so the soundtrack of our Sunday afternoon was not my jam. That said, as a Seattle gal, I love the indoor-outdoor pub vibe, and I will not hold a sports and country music love against a former Texan. Even if he is originally from Turkey, he was steeped in those juices a long time, and it suits the BBQ theme in any case.
We brought home our giant brisket from our Kickstarter reward and held a spontaneous brisket happy hour at our house for friends and neighbors. All agreed it was some of the best they ever had. We used leftovers in quesadillas and chili. Every last morsel was adored.
Go; you will not be disappointed!!
