What a great spot to have an evening dinner. The staff and hospitality are unmatched. Friendly , patient and informative. The menu is not overwhelming with options but what they have is great. But the real gem is the atmosphere, if you’re on a date, taking out family or want to make an impression this is the spot.
The parking is limited but worth the difficulty. Honestly parking down the road is the play anyway because there are a lot of nice shops to pop in and out of.

The cocktails were all amazing but pricey. Amazing view of the beach and sunset. Service was friendly and quick. Pricey but worth it.

Came here for breakfast and ordered an egg breakfast. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the view is the best part. You can see the beach and the waves from the windows, and the menu has a good variety for a brunch place.
The food looked good and tasted fine, though overall it was a bit bland. After we finished eating, it took a very long time to get someone’s attention to ask for a to-go box. When the boxes finally arrived, one of them was dirty, as if it had been stored upside down on a dusty surface. That was disappointing and didn’t feel very sanitary.
One other issue is the way you get to the restaurant. You have to walk through hotel corridors, and there was a strong restroom smell in that area. It’s not inside the restaurant itself, but it definitely affects the first impression.

My husband said, it was the best lobster roll he had ever had. The lobster meat was warm and so was the bread. Remember the parking lot is on the left. It’s ten dollars for two hours.

Awful unpleasant experience. I do not recommend!
The service is beyond disappointing. I was looking for a server for 5 minutes every time I needed something. First I was not brought a menu, the server did not bother to look and was nowhere to be found. Then when the food came, the server or any staff nowhere to be found again. Waited 5 minutes for salt and pepper while the fish got cold. Then my silverware was taken, again looked around for 5 minutes for someone to bring me a fork, the staff acted so bothered. The restaurant only had 4 tables, so it was not a busy night. The server never checked on how our food is.

The food is bland. I had the sea bass, bland taste, no flavor. It was not fresh, been sick since to my stomach.
Atmosphere: you are “inside” in cold 50degree temperature because there are absolutely no doors and no heat. I wish I would have left and no spent my Saturday sick with food poisoning and a sinusitis from that unbearable cold.
Go and enjoy a nice dinner somewhere else! The food is not worth it here and you will get no service, but they do add 20% gratuity.

My daughter originally took me here for Mother’s Day brunch, and I had to return for dinner!! Went this past weekend and enjoyed the Whipped-Brie with honey charcuterie starter, which was OUTSTANDING, followed by a perfectly cooked filet Mingon with a side dish of grilled cauliflower with honey; both perfect!! Dessert, was the Tres Leches! CHEF’S KISS!! . Service and atmosphere were also superb.

Larsens at Hotel Laguna is awesome. Drinks are great. Service is great. Location is great. I only eat in the Bar Lounge so my review is from that perspective. They also have a nice warm fireplace I always sit by. Today just came for dessert and a drink. Chocolate cake.

Excellent customer service!! Our waiter: he was fantastic. Old fashioned was perfect and margaritas my girlfriend says were perfect. Food was outstanding. Views are top of the line. Best oysters I’ve had, very big, super fresh( from Canada) which I thought was so random. Octopus was alright, I just didn’t like how it was prepared, chopped up like that felt cheap(especially when the bill is +$400 still gave $100 tip because waiter was excellent), I prefer when they present the whole tentacle haha. It tasted good though. Best halibut I’ve ever had, exquisite presentation. My girlfriend says the braised short rib was the best she’s ever had as well. We will be back for sure, till next time Laguna!
