I really liked the food, but the service time from the kitchen is very slow. They were backed up in the kitchen and had customers wait an hour when tables were actually available. You could not be sat until they “sent out a large table order.” Our server was nice and very attentive. Bar staff were also very quick and attentive. The cocktails were AMAZING! I would return because the food quality was great, but they need to get their kitchen in order.

We drove 1 hour and 30 minutes to visit what used to be our favorite beach spot since we finally had some time off, and it ended up being a complete waste of a trip.

The experience was awful from start to finish. The coconut shrimp was undercooked. The American breakfast was terrible — the potatoes were soggy, the bacon was old and hard, and the eggs were burnt. My steak and eggs were also not cooked the way I ordered them. The mimosas tasted like they were mostly simple syrup and they were spilled all over the plate when they arrived. Even the chocolate milk wasn’t fully mixed.

To make matters worse, the person plating the food was eating and rubbing her nose while handling dishes. Management also left shortly after we were seated, which didn’t inspire much confidence.

We still paid for the meal even though it didn’t make sense to, but the entire experience left us extremely disappointed and sick to our stomachs. This place used to be one of our favorites, but clearly things have changed.

Also pay attention to the reviews — most of them are from months ago and there’s almost nothing recent. It makes you wonder if poor reviews are being deleted to maintain the 4.6 rating.

The photos of delicious food you see online no longer reflect reality. Save your money and avoid getting sick.

The vibe of the restaurant is so chic. The owner/manager greeted us with such high energy once we walked in (even though it was a little later during the day.) It was our first time here and the food did not disappoint. The chilaquiles are definitely a plate to try! The passion fruit mimosa was delicious. I would definitely come back!

The place is super aesthetic and clean. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. I had the American breakfast and the pancakes were extremely good, they made them exactly how I like them like if they knew lol. I would recommend this place and will be returning! Good place, even better vibes!

Tried for first time. Food was good. We both ordered the omelet and red potatoes. Fresh squeezed orange juice and iced tea. Service was a bit show. Waited about 10 minutes trying to get waiter or managers attention for our check. Nice they offered a stand for our bag.

We had an incredible dining experience at IslaBalli! The food was amazing, truly the best on the island. Edson made sure everything was perfect, and the flavors were outstanding. The avocado fries and chicken tenders were the best I’ve ever had in my life! Every bite was fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. Highly recommend this five-star restaurant, a must-try when you visit the island! ️

the food was great! everything was hot, fresh, and tasty. and the drinks were so good. we loved the restaurant vibes. we went during brunch hours and there was a photographer who took some couple photos and printed them for us. would definitely recommend 🙂

Isla Balli was amazing!! Leo was very attentive, friendly and made an amazing Golden Hour. I had the avocado fries and ribeye chicharron tacos, they did not disappoint! The avocado fries were generous portions and very tasty. The ribeye chicharron tacos were well seasoned, crispy and the salsas gave a good heat. 100/100 definitely recommend!

What a wonderful place to dine! We gathered on South Padre Island for a Balli family reunion and were honored to dine here at Isla Balli. Our waiter D is GREAT he took care of us. We laughed and had such a great time! The food was delicious the espresso martini was very tasty. We (Balli family) appreciate for keeping the Balli family legacy alive with tasty food, great service and a beautiful ambiance.
