Reviews
BEIGNET SPOT EXPRESS is a dessert spot that offer guess what? Beignet! It is the classic New Orleans dessert served fresh and warm, dusted generously with powdered sugar and signature airy texture. As a native NYorker, I never tasted nor heard a Beignet dessert. Hence, my lack of Southern states’ food joint. Anyway, I had a classic 4 pcs Beignet and it was made to order, so you’ll definitely have it fresh, warm and soft. After consuming a piece, my tastebuds were elated and craved for more. I got powdery after consuming all of them. Hehe. A fair warning!
Staff (prolly the owner/GM & baker) were very affable and professional. Customer service was bloody warm. Prices were fantastic. And the quality was absolutely fantastic. Moreover, they have merch for customers.
Overall, I honestly enjoyed my very first Beignet experience. I highly recommend this dessert shop.
The beignets are being made fresh in front of you. Would recommend.
The beignets are honestly cooked to perfection. We ordered the Banana Foster Beignets and they used plantains not regular bananas so you can taste the flavor.
We met one of the owners of this family owned business, Fabrice, and you could tell they are very passionate about what they do. I found out that they also have a Riverside location and they serve breakfast at that location.
Supposedly, soon they will have coffee on their menu at this location. We’ll definitely come back for more.
10/10 recommend. Taste waaaay better than Disneyland and Downtown Disney beignets.
Thank you Fabrice for letting us try the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Beignets as well!
Additionally the beignets themselves were quite airy and thin, and buried with sugary sauces and fruit compotes which did not help at all.
I don’t blame the employee at all; training is a management concern.
