Finally had a chance to stop by and try this spot. My brother didn’t care for it as everything was flavorless: his calamari and gumbo. The team did try to correct with the wings, but overall most likely wouldn’t make a return trip. Their alligator bites and macaroni cheese were both bright spots

Being a NB native I have visited this restaurant many times. We are a family of 7 and this is one of the best when it comes to crawfish. Food is flavorful, service is always exceptional. I Worked in the restaurant business as a server for over 10 years. I have never had a service issue at this establishment. Garavai’s customer service is exceptional. Keep up the good work Comal Crawfish.

Was really looking forward to the food. It sounded great. We came in and had a seat. Waitress took our drink order. And forgot 2 of the drinks. We had to remind her and she then brought them. Sodas are canned drinks that are room temperature. We then decided to order. First person ordered all you can eat shrimp. Waitress told us we had to automatically add 20% gratuity because if we sit and eat for 3 hours. She won’t make money? Kind of weird. But whatever. (her loss because we generally tip 50%. When not forced to tip). The rest of the group ordered. While we waited, we could see other staff in the kitchen sitting on the prep tables. Our food arrived. The gumbo was like soup on grits. Very mushy. The shrimp are small and those that did not order all you can eat. Got small portions. Overall, it was not a great experience. Food was not spectacular either.

We heard of this place from TikTok and wanted to try it out. We came on Valentine’s Day which was rainy but when we got put on the waitlist never asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor seating which sucked because we sat outside which is covered but it was cold and honestly we were just hungry lol so I’m sure we could have waited longer no biggie. The shrimp popper things were good but a little salty. I got my seasoning for my boil mold and garlic butter and it felt flavorless. Maybe I should have gotten the butter on the side or something. Otherwise everything was good. We had a good serve I believe Collin was his name. He checked on us regularly and made sure we were good overall.

I know that im gonna get blown off by the local faithfuls that come here all the time, I was one of them. All new staff mostly screwing off on their phones if you can’t or don’t have the staff and or power to serve all you can eat and get orders correct dont advertise all you can eat left hungry literally and disappointed the wait was ridiculous and the staff couldn’t remember simple orders heard a few tables disputing orders and having the same complaints. This is a tell all of the youth and where the workforce is going not worth the money. And a party of 4 is charged a 20% considered a large party. Do better til then im going to Surfing Crab much better and always dependable

First time getting food from there, was a Saturday night and was pretty crowded so probably didn’t help with how long i waited but ended up being about 45 minutes for a pickup order. After waiting a while i got a text my food was ready, and waited 10 minutes after i got the text to ask about my order again. When i walked up before i even said anything she just turned around and told someone to check for my order, not saying anything to me at all. I got sit back down to wait and they only brought out my seafood boil not my other 3 appetizers. Food was pretty good but i don’t know if i will get the crawfish etoufee again since there was literally no crawfish in it. Overall not so good first experience.

Been here before. Stated food was not as bouncy as it actually was. It was still good but they need to tell you if it’s spicy or not when you have kids. Come in tonight and was told it was going to be a little of a wait to sit inside.. no problem. 30 min. Later they call us said our table outside was ready. We said we wanted to sit inside when we first checked in. The girl said it would be over an hour. This is something she should have told us
30 minutes prior. I said fine. Then 4 minutes later they call us again and said our table was ready. We went inside and they tried to seat us outside. Basically the kids working here do not pay attention. They do not communicate well.

The food did not disappoint! Even after having fasted the whole day, I could only eat one plate of the generously portioned all you can eat fried shrimp and catfish. The seafood was fried and seasoned perfectly—rivaled McAdoo’s but at a fraction of the price. The wife had the boiled shrimp platter—triple seasoned and extra spicy (which she asked for) with a healthy serving of corn and potatoes—awesome! And my kid scarfed down his perfectly crispy, not overly sauced, platter of buffalo chicken wings. Yall just gained some repeat customers!

We usually come here every weekend during crawfish season. The people who own this place are amazing and I am happy to know them and have watched their business grow from the beginning. Our favorite server (Kenzi) is the best! Great environment and amazing food! Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed!
