This was our first time eating at Shane’s Rib Shack. I had the 1/2 rack of ribs with BBQ beans, French fries and Texas toast. The ribs were good, but not the fall-off-the-bone kind that I prefer. I did find their BBQ sauce to be very tasty! The beans were very good too. My lovely wife had a BBQ sandwich and cole slaw that she said was good but not great.
Their prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent.

I’ve eaten here twice. Both times the food was room temperature (at best) and the restaurant is really dirty. Many of the menu items are not available. I came for dinner about 6pm, seems early to run out of stuff. They could easily do better.

Stopped in to get a quick bite to eat for lunch. Got me a sampler plate with nice sides! It was good. The ribs were really tender… I could t decide on using the plastic knife or pulling them apart… both worked. Nice sauces to sample from. Staff was super nice! Thanks for a nice lunch! I didn’t walk away hungry!

Oh my. So, I already knew the bbq was tasty because we’ve ordered it numerous times in Evans, GA. I also LOVE the peach cobbler. But this is the first time I’ve had one of their salads. I am always hesitant to order a salad at a restaurant that specializes in meat. It’s rare to get a good ratio of toppings to salad, but it was spot on! My fork couldn’t even reach the bottom of the container, on my first bite. Cucumbers and tomatoes were so fresh. And the chicken was seasoned to perfection. Would definitely order again.

On February 11th, 2026 our whole office placed an order online, to the Aiken location, to find out they closed when picking up the food. No number to call, no food and no money back. Shame on you for still not updating the website that you closed your business.

All I got was a 3 piece tender meal. I had finished the other two and there is a hair on it. So gross!! Not only that they gave me the smallest portion of fries ever but gave my boyfriend a huge amount when he got a 4 piece tender meal. So disappointing!

I ordered 2 Big Daddy sandwiches and 3pc chicken tenders/with fries. The sandwiches were really greasy. Each time I picked up one of the sandwiches there was alot of greasy on my hands. Fries were ok but not that great. I was really disappointed. I use to eat at Shane’s all the time. I won’t be going back.

Stopped here for a late lunch. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and our orders were ready very quickly. The staff was friendly, but the beverage area was filthy and covered with debris, which we were surprised at since the staff was just standing behind the counter chatting when we arrived. The floors are in need of a deep cleaning…..everything was dirty and sticky. The food was good, although not very warm…portions were plentiful. We both had ribs with two sides. Although their website advertises several sauce options, there was only one sauce on the table. Overall, probably not a place we would go to again since there are other BBQ restaurants in the area that we like better.
