Came on a Saturday night. Was skeptical because of the reviews. To our luck, there wasn’t a lot of people. The server was friendly and fast. We ordered 2 pupusas with frijol, bean and cheese, 2 empanadas and a fry fish plate. The pupusas are big and have a lot of filling. The pupusas themselves are tasty, however, when combined with the curtido and salsa, they are at a whole different level of delicious. The curtido that night was veey flavorful, a true relief since it’s hard to find a good pickled curtido. The empanadas were good and the fish was tasty as well! I hope you have a great experience like the one we did that night.

Best pupusas ever ❤️ El Espino Restaurant has the best pupusas ever—absolutely delicious and worth the stop. Karen, the owner’s daughter, is incredibly kind and welcoming. They’re autism-friendly, and the plátanos are amazing. A must-visit spot.

I’ve been coming here for a while but the last couple of times I came they got the order wrong and I didn’t say anything because I really don’t like to make an issue with that but I told her on the phone order because in person they keep getting the order wrong. I told her I wanted it all three things. Then she started suggesting other stuff and I’m like that’s not what I was asking for so my pupusa turned out wrong again and because it wasn’t what I ordered they still wanted to keep the money and just tell me to take it and I’m like yeah I’m not gonna probably come back to this one. They’re nice but she wanted me to pay extra and it’s like I just got through telling them there’s multiple times where I not only paid for Meet and they didn’t put it in there, but I tipped her. This time she was looking at me real close when I did the tip and I didn’t put it because I was going to go check my pupusa first And they were still wrong. I always tip but you know I don’t wanna be ripped off. I always want beans, cheese and meat and as long as I’ve came, they don’t remember so this time they left the beans out. The ladies nice but I think if you focus on getting the order right, it’s better on your tips. That’s the only reason I rated the way I did. I almost wanna call consumer affairs because the stealing with somebody asked for something else and you charge them and it doesn’t even state on the receipt what you’re charging them for then you end up tricking them and I was trying to figure out. Did they run out of beans why do they not like to put everything all at once if they’re cutting back Just tell me that. Lol

Was given the order wrong and blamed me for ordering wrong, didn’t want to admit they were wrong. Pupusa didn’t have enough cheese or beans, mostly masa. Rude service and didn’t provide utensils and napkins. Didn’t accept debit or credit card. Unfortunately had to get a refund. Never coming here again.

El Salvadoran restaurant serving good food for a great price. Was introduced to pupusas not too long ago and I love coming here for my fix! They also have other great El Salvadoran entrée options to complement ad well. Highly recommended!

Love their food. Normally, I place my order several hours ahead. I always let the person taking the order that I need them 1/2 hour to an hour before I pick up so that my order will be ready. Otherwise, it can take a while. Love the food, very good flavor, not greasy. You don’t have to drive to LA for good food. The restaurant offers pupusas at a discount on Wednesday and Thursday. I always place a big order and freeze the rest. The food keeps up. Highly recommend it. Never dined at the restaurant, I enjoy the comfort of my home. Enjoy the food while watching a movie. Pupusas, tamales, yuca con chicharron, empanadas, atol de elote and fried banana are great.

This is the second time I come here. First time, I came with my family and the taller lighter skinned lady was very rude. I come again today, and she was extremely rude and trying to prove me wrong about a salvadorean soup that we have. Thqt Sopa de gallina india is NOT sold in the US, which is a lie. Then she went on to say that only soup they have is what’s there and that’s it, when I was asking for other soup options. 0/10, never come here and I’m never recommending again.

If you’re hungry order ahead. The food is made to order. The service is ok, they’re not overly friendly and people tend to think they should be tripping over kissing your butt. Order, be polite and get your food. Y ya!
