Omg!!! This place is amazing. The food, service and atmosphere. Their must some little old Mexican lady in the back cooking the food. You can tell the love and authenticity. I will definitely be back. I got the Mocajeta (pictured) the other one is what another guest got that looked amazing. Maybe I will try that next time. Keep in mind this is not a really big space. But it packs a punch with their food and amazing customer service

The food was absolutely delicious! Excellent service as well We had the Mexican tacos, queso fundido appetizer and a tamale, all were fantastic. They have a great kids menu to boot so our little amigo with a picky palate had choices. Don’t miss out on this gem!

Now THIS, this place is good. Just really good solid Mexican food. Their asada is just great. Smaller place, pretty authentic for being here in WI. Great service, good drinks, pretty fair prices. Small outside patio. My go-to Mexican food place now. 9.5/10.

Being Mexican, my expectations of a Mexican Restaurant are very high. Gonzalez Mexican Grill is that one restaurant where we have come back again and again. There is NO other Mexican restaurant we will go to. All Mexican restaurants in the area have disappointed us that we just preferred to cook at home. Food is fresh and made to order here. Tastes home made. Drinks are amazing as well! Service is excellent! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. We have tried so many dishes and all are great! You’re missing out.

My fiance and I decided to be adventurous and try a new Mexican restaurant. We have been to many in the area, this one far exceeded the rest!!! It was the best Mexican we have had. Food tasted like it was made with real / fresh ingredients, service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. 10/10. This is our new go to in the fox cities.

Awesome meal! My friend had a burrito the size of a football and I had the enchiladas. Chips were hot and fresh, rice and beans were plentiful, and their presentation included edible flowers on the top! We really enjoyed the patio deck as well. Beautiful flowers and string lights made it very festive. I would highly recommend!

The prices are quite expensive. The tortilla chips are fried in a strong oil, maybe sunflower, so that’s all I tasted. Seating is quite cramped. The salsa Verde and red salsa that accompany the chips are really good. They also give a small cup of queso with chips. They have a variety of cocktails available, however they’re also quite pricey. Sodas are served in plastic Pepsi cups, so that’s not my favorite. Parking isn’t ideal.
My friend ordered a bloody Mary that came with a shrimp that was raw in the center. I ordered shrimp tacos and was brought fish tacos. They’re fairly bland. The rice doesn’t have much flavor but the beans were good.
I will not be back.
