This is not the first time I have been here, but forget it is there. I was reminded tonight and again they did not disappoint. They make it your way right there in front of you….fresh. It is delicious. Portions are two meals for most. On top of a clean atmosphere and great customer service the prices are surprisingly affordable.

The line was out the door at 2 in the afternoon. I don’t know about you but anytime I see a line outside at a food joint I always take it as a good sign. It was. The food was awesome. A friendly little old lady stood behind the counter making fresh tortillas from a wood press. When the day authentic they are not kidding. 5 stars all the way. Looking forward to coming back!

Authentic family style Mexican that IMHO, tastes as close to SoCal Mexican joints that you’re gonna get in NEP. Great service and wonderful staff. My fave is the wet burrito with pastor.

The white Menudo is so so good and they are generous with the meat now! In the past I did have a bad experience but I gave them another shot to write a positive review (: the tortillas are fresh and hand made there ❤️ and also la agua fresca de Jamaica was bomb and reasonably priced!

I appreciate that they are open during the pandemic and really love how they hand make their tortillas but this was a huge disappointment. The tacos had wittle bad cilantro and the meat had big chunks of non lengua. Love supporting small businesses but this was NOT it.
