Reyhoon is a cozy, family-run spot that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The service is warm and attentive, and the owner is kind and genuinely cares about the experience of his guests. The menu is excellent—there’s a wide range of authentic Persian dishes, from traditional stews to appetizers and kabobs, so you’ll have plenty to choose from.
The kabobs and rice are decent but could be improved. Since they’re such central parts of Persian cuisine, refining them would take this place to the next level. That said, everything else we tried was flavorful and clearly made with care.
I’m giving four stars not just for the food but also to support a hardworking family business that puts heart into what they do. With just a little more attention to the kabobs and rice, Reyhoon could easily become a standout Persian restaurant.

I have been to many Persian restaurants and thought that nothing could surprise me, but here the kebab is just fantastic. The eggplant appetizers were also fantastic, I definitely recommend trying both, one with mint and the other with a smoked flavor. The bread was crispy, fresh, very tasty. This is not a restaurant, but just a gem. Clean, with beautiful paintings on the walls. There is a very large private parking lot. I definitely recommend visiting.

This relatively small place had some of the most amazing kebabs I’ve had in a while! We went for lunch and were seated right away. The service was fast and friendly. The eggplant appetizer was the only dish that didn’t hit the spot, as it wasn’t very flavorful. The falafel was freshly made, crispy, and delicious.
We got the kebab platter combo, and every piece of meat was tender and delicious. The rice portion was large and paired well with the kebabs
Overall, maybe the best kebab I’ve had in NJ.

One of the best spots for Persian food in the county. Hummus was amazing. It’s paired with a thin and fluffy bread to dip. The falafel was very fragrant and crispy. Their cherry rice is a must. I was hesitant but my friend said we had to get it. Of the kabobs that we had I really enjoyed the koobideh. It was so flavorful. The chicken and the beef are good but the koobideh was on another level. To finish we had their homemade ice cream and their Persian roller. The ice cream was so good. It was not what I was expecting. The roller was fluffy and delicious. The tea was great. Not too strong and very aromatic. I will definitely be coming back for more. They can get busy at times. Definitely call ahead for availability.

This is my favourite Persian restaurant in the area, the menu is authentic and the staff very kind and helpful. I came here a couple of times and I came out always happy. I really liked the kebabs, the stews and of course desserts and tea . The atmosphere is also traditional but very clean. Overall very professional service.

I ordered takeout from Rayhoon Kabob House in January 2022. The service was absolutely lovely; the lady on the phone was prompt, kind, and helpful. Though we only ordered two dishes, they were both fantastic! I was also able to try both the yogurt and hot sauce–be warned, the hot sauce is VERY hot! I was very impressed by the interior. I would highly recommend for thoughtful, quick, and yummy food! I will definitely be back!

Super delicious Ash-e-reshteh, koobideh and barg! The food is tasty, the restaurant feel cozy, and the host is friendly. They serve fresh barbary bread and it’s also really tasty.
The portions are good enough even if you would like to share, depending on how hungry you are!
