I live in LB and was on a lunch date with my girlfriend Nancy and when I searched “Mexican “ Margaritas came up with great reviews so we rode bikes over the bridge to Margaritas cafe. Arrived hot and sweaty in the 90 degree trek, only to find out they do not have margaritas at margaritas cafe and no a/c! Ate at Peruvian place next door, and when I got home read the reviews to find out why you had 4.8 rating.
The reviews were all 5.0 except one idiot, and I was extra curious and also reinvigorated to go back and get take out.
All the reviews were correct! Ordered a burrito, guacamole and taco, brought it home and WOW! Found my new local Mexican spot. Everything was so delicious and fresh, so glad I read the reviews and went back, sorry Bad Boy, this is the best spot in the area by far! See you again soon! But not too soon, still trying to finish my huge burrito!

I ordered the ground beef burrito and my daughter ordered the birria. Both were good size and absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back. This is our new favorite Mexican food!

I ordered food from here for delivery to my vacation home; it came a bit late, but it’s understandable because of traffic. But what’s not okay is that they got our order completely messed up! I ordered for 4 people; we ordered 3 beef-only tacos, a bag of chips and salsa, some chimichangas, rice and beans, and a burrito without beans. We got 1 beef taco and a chicken taco and a burrito we didn’t order. The chips and salsa were good. The chimichangas were not good. The rice seemed not to be cooked, and our burrito came with beans!! We made sure to say no beans! And everything was covered in grease but was cold. Overall not a good experience getting food from here.

I used to order all the time from spots in Long Beach. This by far is the best, I’ll never order tacos from another spot. They’re genuine double tortilla tacos. You don’t need anything fancy, they’re legit, filling, and flavorful.

Searching for a place to pick up food on a rainy/foggy Tuesday. Saw the reviews and gave it a try. Delicious! I got the steak burrito which was beautifully wrapped and the flavors were perfectly blended. Hubby got the shrimp quesadilla and was very satisfied. Portions are nice and both of us will have another meal out of it. Fresh, quick And yum!!!

This is it. This is the one. It is disguised as a Deli but it transforms into an authentic Mexican kitchen for dinner. Best Mexican takeout in the area and it’s not even close. We order a tonnnn of food and this is the total package. Amazing food, great price, great packaging, no one spoke a lick of English; exactly what I’m looking for in an authentic Mexican joint. Will be back many times over. We had the ground beef tacos, birra tacos and chicken quesadilla, all phenomenal. I will not be fully satisfied until I try everything else on menu. Thank you.

I have ordered from here three times now and it has never failed to bring the most pleasurable sensation to my tastebuds. My personal favorites are the Al pastor tacos, shrimp tacos, chicken tostadas, and steak tostadas. When I say this is some of the most authentic, home cooked Mexican food I have ever had, I am not lying. You have to try for yourself.

I’m a huge Mexican food fan from living in California while in the military. Since moving to Island park I was never happy with the choices we had till I stumbled on this place while trying to find a place to eat tonight. To tell you the truth I’m not happy with most restaurants in the area. But let me tell you. It was PHENOMENAL! And SUPER cheap. Food tasted so homemade and authentic. After we ate my wife said that she hopes this hole in the wall stays open. It’s def a take out joint, don’t expect ambiance. Go give it a try guys and let’s give a review if the food deserves it. That’s how businesses thrive. Spread the word.
