Amazing gem in South Lake Tahoe. cocktails were amazing, unique and flavorful. started off with the Lobster Mac and cheese and was incredible. Caviar options were also on point. We had the elk, salmon, Lobster burger and more. Chef Jimmy really blew it out of the water. so impressed. manager Jason also stopped by and we assured him everything was perfect. A great birthday celebration with tiramisu and strawberry shortcake. Great spot for a special occasion, or even just a memorable date night. Thank you for the amazing dinner!!

Overall, our dinner was good. The food is overpriced for the quality. You’d expect this in a touristy place like SL Tahoe, though. So, no complaints here. Not so many vegetarian options. We asked for mushroom ravioli without bacon, but they still added that

Fine dining at the Y we had the Norwegian salmon and the chicken breast was fab. Arancini were delicious and the shishito peppers were tasty. Also fresh baked ciabatta table bread from Sugar Pine Bakery was a bonus definitely worth a visit.

This newer restaurant in South Lake did not disappoint! Jonathan, our waiter took great care of us during our meal. Their bread is delicious, fresh and real! Non of that cardboard junk we all hate. Jonathan gave us the list of specials, I chose the crudo. It was scallops with three types of melons accompanied with fennel and lemon. So delicious. My main course looked and tasted amazing! I went with the stuffed portobello mushroom. This is my new go to restaurant here in SLT.

We did Fathers Day brunch at Bistro at the Corner. The atmosphere, waitstaff and food were fantastic. We had the chicken & waffles and steak & eggs. Its nice to have a new fine dining restaurant in Tahoe!

Went here for an anniversary dinner and was not impressed. Our waiter repeatedly forgot to bring us our bread even though the entire restaurant was pretty much empty. The salmon was very fishy tasting/not good quality and not worth the high price. The cocktails were good but those are from the bar next door so you don’t need to go to the Bistro to get those. For a $200 dinner I recommend going elsewhere.

We dined there on New Years Day. In as much as I would like to give this restaurant a break because it was New Year, the bad experience we had is too much to ignore. There were 7 of us who made a reservation for that evening. When we arrived, the hostess was less than charming. She told us that they can’t sit us together because there was no longer a table for 7. She kept insisting that those who were seated also made reservations, like we did, that’s why they were seated first. When we questioned her why they double-booked, she quipped, “I wasn’t the one who made that reservation.” After I asked to speak with the manager, she came up with the idea of putting two tables together. BTW, the restaurant had plenty of empty tables…for a New Tears Day. All the other restaurants I called were fully booked.
The waitress served us 2 small loaves of bread for 7 persons. After waiting for an hour for the food to get served, we asked for another serving of bread because we were starving. The waitress said they ran out of bread.
When this restaurant opened a few months ago, the service was also bad but I set aside my disappointment because they just opened.
I love Aleworx, which is a sister restaurant, where I take all my friends, is great! I hope the owners put their attention to this restaurant or it will flounder. The prices are not cheap therefore I expect more from them. We paid $64.00 per person, and we had 3 children with us from age 9 to 2. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant!

Wasn’t really sure how this place was going to be but they just opened so we decided to give it a try for my moms bday and it did not disappoint!
We were pleasantly surprised by the modern decor and menu options and had an amazing dinner!
Some menu highlights:
Pea Soup starter – if you’re a pea soup fan, then you must order this. It’s thick and so good! Everyone at the table loved it.
Caviar service – if you’d like to splurge go for the caviar service. We did the Osetra and White Sturgeon.
Lobster cheese burger – very rich but have never seen this on the menu before. My brother ordered it and said it was bomb.
The filet – top notch. If you like filet go ahead and order this.
Elk chop – the sauce, the meat, the presentation and roasted veggies. Chefs kiss! If you like a lean more exotic meat go for this.
Lemon merengue & strawberry shortcake dessert – Fantastic post dinner dessert. They weren’t too heavy and good to share between the 6 of us.
They share a bar with Cocktail Corner as it’s the same owners so they have a variety of fun cocktail options
The only downside to this place is that it shares a wall and open door to cocktail corner so if that bar is busy and loud, the noise definitely blends over.
