My gringa wife and I (from Colombia) have to admit that this Arepa from Venezuela was incredibly delicious. Now I am afraid that my wife will like arepas from Venezuela over Colombia’s arepas . 😀
Thank you !

This was the first time we visited this plaza and restaurant. I highly recommend the capachas con queso de mano, tequeños and patacón with shredded beef. Everything was made fresh, hot, and delicious. The owner is very nice.

11/10. The person who took my order was very very nice, came here with my class because we were practicing how to order in Spanish, even tho my Spanish was kind of bad the person who took my order spoke some Spanish and some English for stuff I didn’t really know the food was the best food i’ve had in ages, will come again (whenever I am able to 🙂 ) (I do apologize if this comes off as weird in any way, this is the first review i’ve put for a restaurant ) I think the prices are very good for the amount of food you get. Would recommend 🙂

I had never had arepas before, and wanted to try them—Celida’s was the perfect place to do so! We were greeted very warmly and the lady at the register was so welcoming to my son, that’s always heartwarming. We ordered two arepas (reina pepiada, carne) and two empanadas (cheese and chicken) and were given a buzzer to come back when they were done. The food was so delicious! I am still thinking about the arepa, the outside of the corn cake was so crispy and the inside was moist. The best part was the salsa de ajo, a white garlic sauce that the owner was nice enough to give me extra containers of. I also ordered Chicha, which the owner explained is a Venezuelan drink similar to horchata—it is definitely more the consistency of a milkshake and I was not expecting that, so keep this in mind if ordering for the first time! Pricing was great as well. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I am certain that we will be back!

The owner was very nice and very engaging and answered a few questions I had about the menu. The Empanadas are good I just wish the beef had more flavoring but overall the empanadas are good . Now the Black beans are very good and seasoned well and the plantains are perfect.

This place is Ina food court. The guy at the counter was kind to explain the Menu. I try the arepas and the cachapas it wasn’t amazing but for a little lunch it work . And when I say little a mean little the portions are fairly small.

Celida’s Cafe is a Venezuelan food place that really stands up. Different kinds of arepas full of content, Cachapas and empanadas made fresh for you. True venezuelan cheese, not the plastic that you buy in the supermarkets.
Malta, Frescolita and Chicha. And the Salsita de Ajo that really hits the spot.
