We went with a very small group. It was early and not busy at all. We were quickly sat, and our waitress/hostess was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The guys cleaning the table next to us asked us if our food was good and if we needed anything. We ordered the shrimp potstickers for an appetizer. I liked it. The rest of the group did not. We had steak, chicken, and scallops with rice and noodles. It came with salad, soup, and 2 pieces of shrimp. The soup was a bit on the salty side. The salad was dressing and lettuce. The food was grilled just right. The taste was good, seasoned just a little too much with salt. The best part was the chef and show. He was funny and gave us a hard time (in a good way). We really liked the experience and are planning to return soon with more people.

Just FYI, parking is not great. The area near the restaurant was full, so you might have to park a little ways out, but just a little.

This place is disgusting and needs to be investigated. I witnessed the lady touch the straws with her bare hands to put them in the drinks, what happened to individually wrapped straws?

She brought my steamed rice over BEFORE the food even started cooking.
Soup is salty, salad is surprisingly good.

Chef argued with me when I told him the steak is rare when I asked for medium rare. I bit into a BLUE RARE piece and also had rare pieces.
See photo for details.

This is a pricey hibachi and does not reflect customer service, taste of food or even amount of food given.

5 tables with different groups but only two cooks available on a Saturday smh. You can’t mix menu items and they don’t make drinks (Shirley temple) ie sprite and cherry syrup. With the right ingredients like how can you not get that right ‍♂️ ‍♂️

Chef was fun, he had some tricks I hadn’t seen before. Food was good, if not cheap. Expect about $40 per person for the adult hibachi. We didn’t have sushi this time but it is available.

Aka Hibachi is absolutely amazing! The food is insanely delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The steak is hands down the best I’ve ever had, the fried rice is addictive, and the sushi is fresh and unbelievably tasty. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Aka has an open concept floor plan unliked other Hibachi places we had dined in. A nice change. Strange though, it was quite empty on a weekday afternoon.

Foodwise, not memorable. Expected more for the price they charged.

For us, Hibachi meant fun experience. Watching a chef played little cooking tricks would’ve been highlight of the meal. Not here. We did see a volcano onion and that’s about it. Chef seemed having a bad day. So did the other staffs, we didn’t feel welcome.

Probably wouldn’t return.

This is not a bad place but it is definitely not the greatest from a taste and ambiance perspective. The staff was great. Very accommodating. The price point suggests a bit of a better ambiance and taste. I can agree with Monica that the soup was not very tasteful. It just missed the mark. The salad was good. The dumplings were good. The crab and tuna salad was amazing! The hibachi itself was very mid. I don’t think the price point was worth the flavor and ambiance. Despite that we had a really good time with the staff. I unfortunately will not come back though.

Finally a close, good sushi place. It was so good we forgot to take the picture before we started eating. Tuna tower and 4 rolls. Delish. Service was fast and very friendly. Food was fresh. Looking forward to coming back and trying the hibachi and the noodles.

Service was great and the Hibachi chef was really skilled. The steak and chicken was a little dry (needed a longer marinate maybe) but still overall a good dinner.

First time here. Prices were reasonable. Food could use seasoning and service was….ok. I ordered just vegetables and white rice. The vegetables were not seasoned at all. Wife ordered the chicken and vegetables and she thought the same no seasoning. To give benefit of the doubt we did order our food without the garlic butter but not sure how much difference that would make.
